This is a great bit of kit, ideal for drying laundry indoors over winter. A full load on a clothes horse is bone dry overnight. It has also helped massively with the condensation problem, and extracts a LOT of water in a short period of time. It is not 'whisper quiet' so I wouldn't use it in my bedroom overnight, but it doesn't intrude more than a fan or something similar in a room with background noise like a TV or radio during the day. The app is quite handy, allowing you to check humidity levels and turn it on and off remotely via WiFi, and sending you an alert if it needs emptying. Not the cheapest on the market, but seems solid and well made, is energy efficient and works very well.

Recently bought a 200 year old cottage in the north of England, winter has pretty much kicked in, and along with it, huge humidity and damp issues in one side of the building, it’s hard to fix all the underlying issues with all the rain that keeps coming so have bought one of these I researched well and this brand seems to come out on top, so many good reviews, so have bought one myself and have been running it now for two weeks It’s awesome and does what it says on the tin, I haven’t had to clean any black mould away now for two weeks, which makes me feel so much happier about our home as it was getting me down a little bit, the windows no longer have condensation all over them and I’m emptying 4.8 litres of water every 24 hours that this thing has sucked up, the house heats quicker now that the humidity has come down, one room was getting to 70% humidity before purchase and now sits happy at 50%, it’s super easy to use and has a child lock on the controls which is great For me this was a fantastic quality of life purchase that was worth every penny, I have no regrets getting the larger one (25L) as it doesn’t have to work so hard, it’s a good brand as evidenced by all the reviews across the whole internet and I would definitely recommend it to anyone.

Good product, does what it is designed to do , set level and leave it checks and only runs if needed to keep humidity in our home . Low running cost ,also purifier the air with hepatitis filter, haven't tried the laundry mode yet but if it performs like the dehumidifier then will be good

Delighted with this dehumidifier. It works perfectly taking all the excess moisture out of the house. It's easy to use especially with the app, quiet in use with a night mode. Delighted with this purchase.

I have been looking at buying a defibrillator for a couple of years. I have looked at the different ones available and decided to buy this one. I am not regretting it! It has already reduced the humidity in our house so much within the first week. I have emptied it 4 times now. It has made the house feel so much warmer and the wet washing dries much faster now. Not sure shy I waited so long to get one - glad I have got one now.

Having previously owned two Meaco dehumidifiers for years and still going strong, I decided to try their latest version with Wi-Fi smart mode and it’s a game changer! True to Meaco’s reputation, the unit feels premium, and the setup is straightforward. The app is user friendly, just download it, pair the device, and you’re ready to go. The app allows complete control, from adjusting modes and humidity levels to receiving alerts when the water tank is full. You can also start or stop the unit remotely. It’s a powerful device, though slightly noisy, making it less ideal for bedroom use. Overall, I’m extremely satisfied with this dehumidifier. Meaco has done an excellent job!

I will be comparing the MeacoDry Arete Two 25L with MeacoDry Arete One 20L both with the included HEPA13 filters added. First off this new version has a more robust build making for far less vibrations though one should have in mind that you need to give the dehumidifier some time to settle in as in "breaking" in for all parts to settle in and thus the noise, vibrations and resonance is reduced. Judge it after some use for it to be fair. The 20L was quite noisy initially due to vibrations due to weakness in the handle design making for a resonance effect which you could often counter by slightly elevating the handle where it added pressure to the build design. This went away after some time making just a soft air sound coming from the fan as well as the compressor making less vibration resonance. Now the new design is from start much quieter despite having higher Db rate with no resonance so just soft air sound (which is lower then the first edition despite higher airflow!) and the compressor is much quieter. In total far less noise despite higher Db rate in specs and also being the 25L version. Very impressed! As for the dehumidifying capability it also is far more effective than the first edition 20L. Pretty much half the time to dehumidify and as such also less heat is added to the environment during runtime. The display one the MeacoDry Arete Two 25L has been upgraded with a larger display that show far more information and the buttons with have more crisp and clean look due to better background lighting. You can do more on the control panel and also have more functions that are absent from the first edition Arete dehumidifiers. Now I have yet to test out the app to control it via the mobile but will update this review after using the app but so far it's a great upgrade worth the price and I really recommend people to look into this great dehumidifier. So far solid 5/5 stars!

Il dispositivo lavora in modo efficiente e affidabile, ed è ideale per ambienti più grandi o particolarmente umidi. Nel complesso un deumidificatore potente, moderno e altamente consigliato.

Wir haben den Entfeuchter nun seit einigen Wochen im täglichen Gebrauch. Durch die feuchten warmen Tage bekommen wir die luftfeuchtigkeit nicht gut rausgelüftet. Der entfeuchter ist wirklich sehr leise und macht einen hervorragenden Job. Wir haben ihn auf einer Fläche von ca 100 qm (mehrere Räume) zentral laufen und er schafft es, in allen Räumen die luftfeuchtigkeit zu senken. Sobald der wassertank voll ist, schaltet er automatisch ab und gibt ein kurzes akustisches Signal. Dank der Rollen lässt er sich auch leicht bewegen. Die App ist gut aufgebaut und leicht zu bedienen. Das Design ist dezent und er ist für seine Kraft auch ziemlich zierlich. Wir hoffen, dass er uns noch viele gute Dienste leistet. Der Preis ist auf jeden Fall gerechtfertigt.

J ai acheté un premier déshumidificateur d’une autre marque, même type mais un peu moins cher, que j’ai renvoyé car le capteur d’humidité ne fonctionnait pas correctement. Après de multiples recherches et un peu d’attente car les appareils Meaco étaient indisponibles, j ai décidé d’investir un peu plus pour ce Meaco Arete 2 - 25L ( le seul en stock après quelques semaines d’attente). Très satisfaite pour plusieurs raisons: livraison rapide, très bien emballé, enregistrement pour garantie 5 ans sur le site Ok, le revendeur en Allemagne répond au téléphone! L appareil: le gros avantage pour moi est que lorsque le taux d humidité souhaité est atteint, l appareil se coupe (ventilateur aussi) pour se rallumer 30mn plus tard afin de vérifier le taux. Le compresseur se remettra en marche seulement si nécessaire, c est donc un gain en consommation, contrairement à la plupart des autres appareils. Le bruit n est pas dérangeant, même la nuit, je n ai pu mettre qu une vidéo pour donner une idée du bruit compresseur en marche. L écran LCD pour moi était un gadget ( par rapport à l Arete one) mais la différence de prix n était pas énorme. L appli était aussi un gadget pour moi mais finalement c est plutôt pratique et très simple d utilisation. Quoi d’autre? Un filtre est livré avec l appareil, ils sont relativement chers ( 49€ pour 3) mais efficaces! Ma maison est beaucoup plus saine après 3 semaines d utilisation ( de 75% à 55 %) en le faisant tourner presque tt le temps mais je constate que je vide le bac d’eau moins souvent et il est plus souvent en veille qu au début) . Niveau Conso ( critère très important pour moi vu l humidité dans la maison ) je ne vois pas vmt de différence sur le suivi quotidien, je pense que c est le plus économe du marché! Je mets 4 etoiles bien que j aurais pu en mettre 5 car l humidité indiquée est un peu inférieure aux hygromètres que j ai placés ds chaque pièce ( environ 6 à 7%) . Le mode nuit est pratique ( on a l impression qu il est éteint mais continue de fonctionner). En conclusion, après une première déconvenue avec un premier appareil défectueux d une autre marque , je suis TRÈS satisfaite de mon achat! Je recommande les yeux fermés !
