I bought these having tried various alternatives over the past 14 years, some successful, some not. Having read the "Ride" review of available products, the V2 Sponge and cloth jumped to the top of my list. Whether it is road filth thrown up by other vehicles or whether it is squashed flies and bugs, the V2 shifts the lot in a flash. Rinse it clean in nothing other than clean water, squeeze the excess out and then pop the sponge into the litle plastic resealable bag to keep it moist on your travels. It will clean your visor in a flash, after which you should wipe your visor dry with the accompanied cloth. Just remember to rinse the sponge and the plastic bag clean when you reach your destination to keep things healthy. An absolutely fantastic product!

A good idea but you could make your own with a couple of self sealing bags.The sponge tore the first time I tried to remove it from it's bag.

Probably the shortest review I've ever written. These things work brilliantly, exactly as described. Perfect for summer riding - removing flies guts and gore - and winter communting, getting salty old road muck off your visor.Just make sure it's compatible with your visor system (read the small print). The only people that'll give it a bad review here are the ones that don't or can't read....!

Excellent product. Cleans visor instantly and with very little effort. One slight negative is if you rub too hard the sponge will not last.

i was first introduced to this product when they gave it away free with fast bikes magazine. never looked back since. there is a warning in the package about using it with an avg visor or pinlock. ive got a shoei pinlock and never used it for the inside of the visor, i mean why would you? but apparently this is not recommended for the outside of an avg due to some coating, so beware if you have one . as a closing point, i bought 4 packs to see me through the summer, not that they wear out quick but because i can leave one in both my jacket pockets and have some spare for mates :)
