Practical, well thought out deck with few flaws
This should really be a 4-star review, but I'm adding an extra star for the sheer difficulty of producing something like this, and the inventiveness that went into it.I love this deck! I've been using it for client readings since I got it, and getting good results. Incidentally, it's a good deck to read for younger or sensitive audiences, because it doesn't have overtly "scary" cards, or nudity.Pros:1) Mostly appropriate character choices (which sets this deck apart from many theme decks, like the impractical Game of Thrones Tarot). There are cards that are just perfect, and while this is subjective, I found only two problems - not bad out of 78.2) Good stock and brilliant colors - very bright colors, and a good sense of depth. Love the borderless design.3) The faces are generalized - which makes it easier to read, at least for me personally. I notice that some people are having problems with that, but I believe that's a subjective issue. Decks that look like representations of actual people can be problematic - you don't necessarily want the cards to be really specific, it can be harder to see them as the client's situation. Faces like these make the deck more universal.4) It's fun, fun, fun! C'mon, the Knight of Wands is highway patrol cop, on a bike (chips), with the Rider Waite design etched into his uniform. The Knight of Cups is the Fonz! The 8 of Cups is the Smoking Man with a UFO! The 6 of Swords is the Vikings!Cons:Only two: the Empress and the Emperor cards are frankly awful. I can still deal with them, but oh boy, they did so well with everything else, and then really dropped the ball on the Empress. She's represented as the Veep - the busy politician - that really doesn't work. The Emperor is a little better (House of Cards), but he's a sinister, controlling figure - so both the Empress and the Emperor are power-mad rulers right from the get-go, and it's hard to view them as caring mother and father figures. I'm still happy with the deck - you can't please everyone, but it's definitely a flaw you should be aware of when you get it. (you should get it though :)

A clever, if occasionally confusing, deck.
The TV Series Tarot has a lot of really great references -- one of the cards that really pushed me to press the preorder button on this was the Ten of Swords -- a Star Trek redshirt. I think this deck is filled with clever references like that -- when I've been able to catch them. There's obviously no list in the LWB of which cards reference which shows, which isn't surprising. Back in the day I would have headed toward Aeclectic Tarot Forum for the community effort to label the cards, but since the place is gone now, I'm not entirely sure where to look! Alas. However, even without grasping every show's references, the images usually speak for themselves as far as divination and reading goes, so it hasn't been a big issue on that front! And for most of the shows I did recognize, I felt like they were good matches, although there were a few that left me surprised or confused by their choices. As far as the rest of the points of the deck, there's nothing unexpected -- you can see the art style before you buy it -- it's not for everyone, but you can see what you're getting into ahead of time. The cardstock and box and LWB are all pretty standard Lo Scarabeo fare.

Too cool!!
I absolutely love this deck. I grew up watching waaay too much television and this deck was a blast from the past. They do not have rights to the characters sonthe artist had to make some very generic looking. I don't think this takes away from the quality of the product whatsoever.I am frustrated that it didn't come with a list of which show is on each card, as some are easy and some are downright almost impossible (page of cups is from an Italian sitcom for example) I ended up having to google a list.It is one of my favorite decks that I own.

Worth it
Very fun deck. Wish the book was a little longer but still awesome!
