Very competitive product with the 8 core smoother surface advantage.Line to line, Alberto knot friendly (with 10 wraps being the smaller diameter of the 6 Lbs.) as well as the standard Palomar knot.Improved casting distance over mono and flouro as well as 4 core braids, allowing for lighter weights and lures with better casting distances.Decent strength for pulling fish through aquatic vegetive cover considering this is 6 Lbs. line. 4 out of a 6 Trout limit today came in with weeds in their face. One of the six Trout buried itself deep enough, I resorted to hand lining until clear of the weeds, being my ultra-light rod was doubled over near the breaking point and the line held.Good enough for me.

Very good line. It casts forever, and it's been very durable so far. No bleeding or discoloration yet.I like everything about this 30 pound braid. Will buy more for my other reels.

Best Braid for the money and I know because I am a part time surf fishing guide that sells rods and reels. There might be thinner and smoother line out there but Kast King is consistently strong and long wearing that can still cast a long line!The down side is that the braid does bleed and fade in color, but all else is excellent!

Couldn't get my regular line in time for a fishing trip. Took a chance on this as a substitute . Was pleasantly surprised. Has a very slippery coating that flies through the guides like lightning. Casting distance improved markedly. This line launches lures. Due to the coating, I had to be careful of knot choices. Improved clinch knot was OK, as was Palomar knots. Modified Albright for tying on flurocarbon leaders required extra wraps to prevent slipping. If you have a habit of pinching the line between your fingers as you reel it on the spool, you'll get the coating transferred onto your fingers. Comes off with hand cleaner.I'll be buying more of this in the future.

This line is super strong and casts really smooth. I’ve used it a few times now and haven’t had any issues with tangling or snapping. It holds knots well and works great with my baitcaster. Feels like it’ll last a while too.
