17.7" Poly-Wicker Bread Basket,Woven Tabletop Food Fruit Vegetables Serving Basket, Restaurant Serving,Brown

First off, I took a star away for the color. Didn't realize it was orangey. Any wood color but orange would have been prefered. That said, it is a very nice basket and though I love natural materials (which this is not) this is most likely a better choice for my purpose. We have a little Chihuahua type stray enclosed behind a doggie fence, in our living room separate from our own dogs. She has a plastic type carrying kennel in there with the gate removed. During waking hours, she loves to lay/sit on top of it and get a better view of her surroundings. Besides placing a plushy fabric bed inside the kennel, I put another on top of it. She laid in it but it would get pushed off, also. --- I have now placed a cushioned pad in this basket securing it by cutting 3 strips of double stick rug tape on the bottom of the pad and firmly sticking that inside the basket. Hey, it works! She hasn't pushed the basket off and took to it immediately. If it does get pushed off, I'll either try glueing it on or might even see if the rug tape will work on that, too. Maybe gripper pads might work? Not sure how this will work when I go to remove it to wash the pad. I may even have to forget the rug tape and sew ribbons on the pad and tie those through some of the larger spaces on the basket. However this goes, I'm thinking it will be fine and remedy my having to pick that pad up several times a day. ---By the way, I mentioned this would probably be better than wicker, rattan, etc. because she'd probably chew those. She likes natural materials, too ;)

It's big enough to hold two loaves of regular size bread, french bread loaves, or even rolls! It does take up a tab bit more counter space, but its not a deal breaker. It actually looks very stylish on my counter top. It can also be used to hold other miscellaneous items if so choose (i.e. kitchen towel, coffee creamer, etc). I would definitely recommend this basket, especially if you don't want your bread to sit on a bare counter!

The basket looks nice but it's definitely not as sturdy and rigid as real wicker. It needs to be picked up with 2 hands by the sides instead of one hand by the bottom because its flexible. The bottom of the basket also bows up in the middle and only flattens when heavier items are in it. I bought it to store extra fruits and veggies on my counter. The fruit rolls to the sides of the basket because its not flat but it shouldn't be much too much of an issue. If i were using it for other items it might be a problem though. The reason i’m not returning it is because I wanted a breathable basket that is washable if any of my produce gets moldy.

This basket is great for the price, especially if you have a large group and need/want your bread spread out. It was a random gift for my sister, and she loved it, exactly what she had been looking for in stores, but couldn't find.

got this basket to display some old shells. it will be sitting on a shelf so i don't know how it will hold up if i pick it up, suspect i will need to support the bottom. most people won't use it for what i am. nice color and size.

Exactly what I was looking for. I wanted something that I could keep fruit in on my counter. The sides are sturdy. I didn't want it to take up the whole counter space. I lined it with a piece of folded parchment paper (unbleached). Now the kids have easy access.

i ordered 3 of these to fit on the shelf of my new coffee table. The baskets were the perfect size as advertised and the color matched perfectly with what I ordered! Couldn't be happier about my purchase.
