First class thermalite block fixings

Good reliable thermalite fixing

I used these superb fixings to build a tool wall for a customer. The helical fins are genius and prevent them from spinning while screwing/unscrewing. They make a very firm anchor point and simply hammer into a 10mm pilot hole. I can wholeheartedly recommend them.

I wanted to put up shelves in the garage, and unfortunately all the wall have Thermalite bricks. I tried various options, but as usual most pulled out of spun. These did the trick, although a bit hard to insert, took a bit of hammering to get hem flush. But managed in the end, and they held firm. One word of advice, do NOT use an impact driver, i did and it damaged the hole on my first attempt. After that i used the driver to almost drive the screws home, but the last bit i used a manual driver. Good value and feel confident they will hold up well. Excuse the pun!
