Artway Flat White Art Paper - 100% Recycled A3 Cartridge/Drawing Paper (50% Mix of Coffee Cup Waste) - 170gsm - A3 - 200 Sheets

I bought this mainly for working in ink, including wet on wet and Japanese marbling. The attached image shows my wet on wet test sheet. It works well for both, although the paper does buckle a little, so arguably best stretched first. There is no bleed from any of the drawing ink I tested (mostly Indian ink). I don't use alcohol based markers, so can't comment on them. It is a very slightly off white, and on close inspection there are tiny dark speckles and fibres. The texture is at the rough end of cartridge paper variation, but smooth enough for pen and ink, except maybe the most vicious crow quills. I imagine it would be good for pencil work too. For the price and the fact it's recycled, it's brilliant.

Always suspicious of recycled paper as I've sometimes ordered it and it's arrived smelly vaguely of vomit. No idea why. But this one is smell-free and has a really nice colour. Great quality.

Bought this for a group project to draw various 'sense impressions'. Members of the group are free to use pencils, pens, wax crayons, watercolours etc. and the paper works well with all these materials. The weight of the paper is a little light to take a LOT of wetness with watercolours without rippling a little but I think this is due to the weight I chose rather than the quality of the paper. The rippling is not excessive enough to warrant the additional expense of getting a heavier grade. I LOVE the colour of the paper. It does not have the harshness of brilliant white and the 'cream tinge' is very slight.You'd never know by the QUALITY of the paper that it was recycled 'anything' but the fact that it IS recycled coffee cups is just brilliant. A definite thumbs up and I have just purchased another pack.

nice paper, good for sketching. For me at least hits the sweet spot between grainy and smooth for pencils, maybe not the ideal choice for inks but absorbent enough to be workable. Product arrived fine, have had no issues with paper being damaged or bent and honestly incredible value for money, the ecological aspect is just a bonus. Will for sure be reordering when I run out.

Used with screen printing inks and marker pens, this paper took the ink well with no bleed or pooling, gave an even finish. Good white colour

Well packaged, yet not over packaged paper. Really great recycled paper ideal for pen and ink drawings or bookmaking. I didn’t realise that Amazon sold this paper and I was delighted to discover that they did. Recycled coffee cups what’s not to like !

Good general drawing paper, also painted on it with children and gel printed.
