Here’s a detailed account of my experience with it. Packaging and First Impressions: The device arrived in a neat, well-designed package with clear instructions. The mouthpiece itself appeared to be of high quality, made from soft, flexible material, which gave me initial confidence in its comfort and effectiveness. Fit and Comfort: The first night, I followed the instructions for fitting the device. It was relatively easy to position it in my mouth, and it did stay in place throughout the night, which is a significant plus. The design effectively holds the tongue forward, which did noticeably reduce my snoring. However, there are some critical comfort issues to address. The part of the device that fits between the teeth and the inner mouth tends to rub against the gums. This constant friction caused irritation and soreness, which persisted throughout the day. Despite being designed to be soft, this rubbing sensation was quite uncomfortable. Post-Use Discomfort: After using the mouthpiece, I experienced a tingling sensation on my tongue, which lingered for several days. I tried to make this product work but simply could not tolerate it. While the idea is novel and theoretically should work, it misses when it comes to holding your tongue out properly. Despite even max suction my tongue would eventually slip out. In addition, it put negative pressure on my tongue creating a weird tingling sensation. When it wasn’t doing this, my saliva was being mass produced due to the object choking me in my own saliva at times. Was not a pleasant experience. On top of that, this expensive piece of plastic is non refundable. Buyer beware

Requires serious commitment and weeks of adjustment to your breathing patterns. Salivation may also be a problem. I just spit it out while sleeping when my nose is obstructed (as you can breathe only through the nose with this device). Get nasal strips as well. Expect at least a month period of discomfort and sketchy sleep. All that should be worth is as this device does stop you from snoring.

Do I wish I didn't need to use the Stop Snore device? Of course, but since I do have a problem with sleep apnea and have tried the CPAP machine which I hated, I knew I had to find something else. When I read about this device, I stuck my tongue out at night and suddenly, everything opened up and my breathing improved and I couldn't even make a snoring sound. I thought it was worth a try. I like the size of it and like many have said, it isn't the easiest thing to get used to, but eventually you do. All I know is that I am waking up feeling much more refreshed and feeling like I actually slept at night.It also does not make noise like the CPAP machine did, so my husband isn't bothered by it. It does make me drool and sometimes it falls out, but I easily put it back in again. I can travel easily with it and it is easy to keep clean and take care of. It is a lot of money for a tiny little device, but the cost is worth it when I wake up feeling so much better. I give this a 4 star rating because I have to be honest and say that I don't love to wear it, but it's worthy of a 5 star rating for how I now feel. Before trying it out, just stick your tongue out for a few minutes as you lie awake and see if you feel any different and see if the drooling and feeling of the tongue being out bothers you too much. If it does, then this product will not be for you. I am so thankful that I took a chance on it because it is making the world of difference for me!
