I bought this as a gift for my daughter's older dog who was bored in a small apartment. It wasn't the right fit for that dog, so she passed it back to me to try with my dog.My dog loved this from the start! She's a Highland Westie so in the terrier family and the hunting was right up her alley!! I can hide these bad boys in pretty difficult spots and she will find them, it's so fun for both us to play together! She did chew through one that she had found and I wasn't paying close enough attention to take it, but so long as I take it from her once she finds it, that doesn't happen. Highly recommend.

The game has been fun for my pups to learn and it’s pretty easy to teach them. The instructions provide a few training options. The canvas bags that the paper anise scent bags are placed into are durable, but the paper bags holding the anise scent are easily torn. It is recommended to remove the paper bags from the canvas bags after each use so the wear on them seems to be a lot more than the paper bag can handle. After using the bags 3-4 times they start to get little holes in them. I don’t let my pups chew on them or even hold them in their mouths. I have placed little pieces of tape over the small holes so nothing is falling out if the paper bags, but it would be nice if they were more durable.

My GS Belgium Malanois mix spends a lot of time sniffing things out during our walks, and my sister recommended getting a game that uses his sense of smell. Well after a couple of weeks of training, he can now smell these out whenever I hide them in the house or in the backyard. I’m amazed at what he can do! Of course the rewards that he gets once he finds one is probably his favorite part!

Gave this as a gift to my daughter who has two dogs, one that is all about chewing and one that is all about sniffing. The "sniffing" dog loves this, and my daughter has had great fun and success using this kit with this dog. Highly recommended!

Overpriced for what it is, but my pup still loved the game.

I recently got this product, and it has been a wonderful experience spending time with my dog. We had so much fun playing together! Setting up the bags was easy, and it was enjoyable teaching my dog how to sniff them out. It’s a great way for us to bond and have fun together. Highly recommend for any dog owner looking to enhance their playtime with their furry friend!

Although it’s a bit overpriced considering what it is it does what it intends to do and I’m successfully training my dog to find scents with this kit!

The training and the tin are a pretty good idea. an inner bag to hold the scent and an outer bag to tackle the slobber. My dog is working on not eating the scent and we are working on "find" command. At $30 I think it's a bit pricey. I wish there were more training tips. I think for about $10 you could get some star anise seeds, a couple little mesh zip bags for aquarium filter media, A christmas cookie tin and youtube videos and replicate this.
