Just as good as a beats pill speaker!!
I love this speaker!!! Nice and loud but crisp and clear. Battery life is pretty long. It’s easy to connect to and durable.

Great price and clarity. Can get loud
Small but loud. Was considering the StormBox 2 or the JBL Clip 5. This speaker is obviously a little bigger than the Clip but I got it for about the same price as the Clip. My son took it out of the box and had it connected in no time. Downloaded the app and played some music. Was very impressed with the clarity. Can definitely get loud. Will see how it holds up through his college years.

Great speaker
I bought this to replace an old Altec Lansing speaker and the difference is remarkable. This one sounds so much better as far as peak volume and bass notes. I also really like the bass boost. The speaker has a solid, compact feel and connects between devices seamlessly. I love the quality of this speaker.

Seem Great To Me
Four stars because nothing is perfect, but I have had three of these now: one I took on a trip, knowing I would give it away to a local at the end of the trip, speaker worked great and I found that the battery life barely budged, seemed stuck at 90%. I now have two of these set in stereo mode for my home gym. The two together are very loud and the sound clear, no complaints. However the battery life does seem more normal, in that it has gone down to 60% with similar use to the speaker I had prior. I am sure there are 'better' speakers out there? But it seems to me, for the money, this speaker rocks and stereo I can be super loud. Knock on wood no connection issues with all three that I have owned. I also purchased the "co2CREA Hard Travel Case Replacement for JBL Flip 7 Flip 6 FLIP 5 Waterproof Portable Bluetooth Speaker" which holds the speaker perfectly, great for travel.

Mixed Results; Bike Water Bottle Holder Friendly!
The good: The overall construction of the product is amazing. You can tell that it is very tough. I've rode my bike through the rain with this speaker on over an hour without any issues with performance, and it still looks brand new. The mesh cloth is very durable coming in and out of the water bottle cage and feels like it'll last a long time. The product is very heavy which I regard as a positive in terms of durability. I like the simplicity of the controls. You can skip songs simply by double clicking the middle circle button so it's easy to use while riding a bike without getting distracted. This was a definite advantage of this unit over others I looked at. The bad: Within just a few uses the strap that you use to pull the speaker in and out of position snapped off. It is held together by a very flimsy button. This part is critical for getting the speaker in and out of the side of your backpack, a bike, water bottle, cage or wherever else you use to store it and was one one of the key reasons why I bought the product. I wish they would have designed it with only one passive subwoofer portion coming out of the top. When you're using the speaker outdoors, you lose a 50-60% of the bass unless the speaker is sitting on a perfectly hard surface, (This is a really poor design decision since speakers like these are mostly used outdoors while biking, hiking, going to the beach, etc. Where the speaker is often not used on a perfectly flat surface.). In contrast, when I bring the speaker indoors and use it on my office desk, the bass is overwhelming. A simple design change to include only one passive woofer on top would have resolved much ofthis issue and yielded a better quality product in my opinion. The audio is a little bit "tin-y" compared to a Cambridge angle speaker I purchased for about half the price and half the wattage from 3 or 4 years ago. But the bass performs better on this unit (indoors) and this works much better in a water bottle cage on a bicycle. It also has USB-C which my old speaker did not. If you're like me and can't stand carrying around two kinds of cables, USB-C is a must. Overall I would give this 3 and 1/2 stars. For the price I was expecting a little bit higher quality sound, but given how perfectly it fits onto my bike, I'm happy.

Solid Speaker, Especially For The Price
For $69+, you will not go wrong with the Tribit Stormbox 2. I paid for this with my own money. The sound quality for a $69 speaker is excellent. It gets loud with the 34 watts, loud enough to be heard just fine over a group of drunks. It has the latest Bluetooth 5.3 and connects fast. There is a "bass booster" button that does audibly bump up the bass-- look for $69 you aren't gonna get some deep bumping beats. But it's good enough. You can connect to the app and customize the sound settings. It's IPX7 so it will probably be fine if you drop it in the pool. And they claim the battery lasts 24 hours, I'm assuming this is at mid volume and the bass booster off. Bottom line, it would be hard if not impossible to find a louder, better sounding speaker at this price point. Plus it's waterproof and has a great battery.

Unbeatable price/quality. Yes you can find speakers sounding better but you will have to pay 3/4 times more. I can stand bad quality speakers but Tribit Stormbox 2 is not bad at all. One last word for quality. I had a Strombox 1 and one day forgot it in the garden, it rain all night and next day for my surprise it was working fine and kept working.

Fairly impressed with this speaker. I bought it after a disappointing experience with an Anker speaker. Pros: 1. This gas nothing do with sound but it feels incredibly well in hand. The weight is just right and the mesh covering solid and comfortable. 2. Out of the box sound is warm albeit a bit flat but you can immediately improve it pressing the X bass button. The app allows you to tweak the EQ and it makes a world's difference. There are a few useful presets, especially one that emphasises voice, very useful for podcasts or watching movies at night on a projector. I personally like to turn the bass all the way up, it makes it almost as good as JBL Flip 6. 3. Connection is very stable, I've left in the garden and worked in the garage, connection never dropped. 4. Waterproofing works, I left it in the rain by accident and it was perfectly fine. It's very durable as well. Kids dropped it once on block paving and once on tarmac, coulple of scratches but works just as well as before. 5. Battery life is solid. It obviously depends on how loud you like it but I rarely go above 50% and got a full day in the garden and on the beach. Cons: 1. Out of the box sound is a bit neutral, too neutral for my taste. You definitely need the app. 2. Orientation is key. If you put it down flat the sound suffers a bit, not by much but it's there. Best to keep it upright. 3. It's not dustproof so you have to be careful on the beach. 4. Even with EQ wizadry in the app, the bass is not as full bodied as the Flip 6 (obviously not as good as Bosch soundflex). It does get close, especially inside the house. 5. Distortion comes out at 60/70% volume. Overall, very happy with the purchase, better bass than any entry level Soundcore speakers, the sound is warm with the right EQ settings, a bit like Bosch portable speaker. I got it on sale, half as much as a Flip 6. Highly recommend it.
