Great soldering station
This is a great soldering station. Comes with everything you need to get started. There are 6 different tips, comes with one on the soldering iron and 5 additional. The device also has an anti static clip which plugs into the back and can be grounded to help protect the device from anti static when soldering. The soldering iron fits perfectly in the holder. The iron heated up quickly to the required temperature which you can easily change on the display and see what temperature you are operating at. I would recommend. Note that the instructions do not describe what the anti static connector is or how to use so make sure you google to understand how and what to connect the end clip to to proper ground when using.

Lean to wield with the right stuff!
This is a great starter kit and perfect for my small work area. This gives you extra tips that work with all the different types of projects that I do. The numbers are big and bright for being able to see easily.

Works OK--but who can understand these instructions?
This is a good solid, soldering station, with a heavy-duty transformer providing 75 watts at 24 volts to the ceramic heating element in the handle. The transformer ensures line isolation for user (and circuit) safety, and provides the high power necessary to bring the soldering iron tip up to the set temperature in about 10 to 30 seconds (depending on the temperature the user sets). It's simple to use the temperature up/down buttons to set the desired temperature on the digital display to anywhere within a wide range, and the soldering iron itself fits safely in a soldering stand, safely preventing burns or damage to hands and surrounding objects. The stand even holds a damp sponge for cleaning the iron tip when needed, and the kit includes five additional assorted iron tips, a small roll of lead-free solder, wicking braid for de-soldering operations, a pair of fine-point tweezers, and a grounding wire that can be plugged into the back of the power unit and clipped onto the item being worked on, to protect static-sensitive devices (if necessary). In operation, the power unit rapidly pulses electrical power into the heating element to maintain the set temperature at the tip (you can see the far-right decimal point on the digital display flashing as the power pulses on and off). Now the bad news: The instructions are inscrutable, as happens all too often with such imported equipment. While the website description implies that the station can display temperatures in Fahrenheit or Centigrade, I could find no way to accomplish that--though perhaps it's not very important, since most of us in the U.S. are accustomed to Fahrenheit temperatures and that's what this unit seems to default to. But the device has other capabilities that the instructions do not describe clearly enough to make usable. There's an asterisk (*) button on the power unit, said to "confirm the input and save it automatically"--but it really doesn't seem to do anything. And there's an entire section titled "Alignment Setting" that seems to apply to something that might involve correcting temperature readings--but it's not described in a usable or understandable way. There's also a hole labeled "CAL" that's apparently for temperature calibration--yet there's no hints given about how to make proper use of it. And temperature references scattered throughout the manual seem to be rife with errors. So, while this solder station would command much more respect (and more rating stars) if the manufacturer had seen fit to provide a reasonably understandable manual, the fact is that the hardware itself is sturdy, and basic operation can be easily achieved--even if users may be missing some potentially usable features.

Heats up fast & accurate
This solder station produced a very strong soldered joint on a smaller guage wire that I could Not pull apart! It reaches temperature quickly & the digital temp display is the way to go! No more waiting around wondering if the unit is even working. The digital display gives instant real time feedback. The kit includes different solder tips for a lot of versatility plus a cleaning station in the holder. Very happy with this so far.

I didn't know how much I was missing!
I have tinkered and soldered for repair of simple boards and electronics since I was very young, and continued to solder wired gear during research work for years! Except I only used the single iron simple versions like old Radio Shacks sold. I didn't know I was missing out. This is amazing! Heat control, multi tips, easy to hold and great stand. Comes with desoldering and soldering wires. Wow! I wish I had known about these before. If considering major repairs or circuitry soldering, this is a must! Very fast to heat!

Great soldering station
I am not a professional electronics technician that does soldering for a living by any means; so I cannot speak to quality or how well calibrated the temperature on this device is. However, I think this is a great device for the casual user like myself. It provides everything you need in one handy kit and it seems to function as expected.

A complete starter soldering Station with full digital display. A lot for the money.
This is your typical chinese clone product of a better known name brand. The station and tools are well packaged in a sturdy box and fully encased in styrofoam on the inside.(It's the good styrofoam, not the stuff that crumbles when you touch it)This is a lot of tool for the money.

Great solder set
Comes with all you need. Heats up fast and solder good.Comfort grip.I like that they included multiple tips for I spent around $10 for each tip previously.Like auto turn off feature. All you need is just plug in wire and you are ready to solder. This solder station is good as it is, but I may have been more happy it has a knob for temperature control
