This eye to eye is alright. It’s definitely different than other cordage with the loose cover, and you can tie a variety of friction hitches with it. What kills it for me on this prusik is how tight the sewn eyes are... The overly tight eyes make it hard to get on most carabiners. The tightness of the eyes make me never use it.

I was have difficulty getting my hitch to hold consistently. I tried several hitch cord and several hitches. This cord seems the best texture for this Teufelberger drenaLINE rope. 28” size with a Michoacán hitch has very little setback. Problem solved.
