I bought grabhandles for the stairs to help get into bedroom and bathroom as I am old and need support they do the trick thank you very much

Product is as expected, well made , strong and easy to fit.But the instructions that came with product were not that accurate, it says that a 6mm drill bit was needed but actually the rawlplugs that came with were actually 8mm .Otherwise a good product.

I keep building storage for my garage to maximise the space. I have made two drawers that slide under the shelving that I also made.I needed something strong and be able to grip securely as these drawers have a lot of heavy items inside despite being on castors as my garage floor is not perfectly even.I did not use the supplied fixings as I was mounting into wood board so needed something different to make secure. The mounting process was straight forward and the brilliant end result was that these are soo easy to get a good grip of and I am able to easily move my drawers.I appreciate that this is not the intended usage for them but they are solidly made and allow you to get a strong grip on them due to their rough surface.Very happy with these and the price is reasonable for the quality and usability.

I needed Grab bars for an elderly parent and got these. They are slightly cheaper than what a lot of websites sell and tbh they look better in stainless steel than the "white coated" ones.My biggest gripe and hence the 4 stars only- the wall plugs provided were awful.They were way too small and as soon as the screw went in, they snapped. That was for the 12" bars. The 17" bars were the opposite- the plus were too big!.The instructions said use 6mm drill bit- fine for the 12" bar, but way too small for the 17" bar- that was probably a 8mm drill bit. Lucky I had to genuine Rawplugs that I used instead.Instructions were okish.What I learnt after trying to install the 1st bar was that the plate through which the screws go through that you bolt on had to be set in a particular way when tightening to the grab bar itself so that none of the screw holes go "under the bar" otherwise you cannot screw them in. (See picture)Would I buy them again if they were not for free- yes. I actually went and bought a set of the 17" bars.

2 Pack 17inch Grab Bar RailI have fit a lot of grab rails over the last 20 years and prices and quality varies a lot.For the price of around £18 for two, these are at the lower end of the market. This shows in the quality of the finish. The rails are reasonable, but the thin mounting plates are not the best, as they have sharp edges from the machine pressing. Unfortunately, the covers do not completely hide the mounting plates.When fitted to a solid wall these grab rails are sturdy.Time will tell how good the chrome finish is.If I had just fit out a new bathroom, then I would suggest paying more for a higher quality grab rail with a long anti rust guarantee.However these are ok for an existing bathroom or other area.
