This 58 mm is the perfect size for my KitchenAid expresso machine. It is built well & a good quality.

Did not fit the product as advertised, I received a filter that was too large.

This 58mm pressurized basket has a single hole in the center of bottom like most pressurized baskets. I used a 58mm dual cup portafilter for my first cup with this. Do Not Do That! I had to clean off the walls and other items on the counter near the espresso machine because this basket sprays a hard stream which hit the dual cup part of the portafiler and when straight side-wise. The next cup, I used a bottomless portafilter. It sprayed straight down and the cup was full of bubbles. These first two cups were with Cafe Bustelo pre-ground espresso coffee beans. The 3rd cup was grinding beans to a finer grind than the pre-ground beans, the one that I used with a bottomless basket. The espresso came out a little too slow. The machine I was using does not go less than 8 bar. I expect that one can get a reasonably good cup of espresso by finding the correct grind size, but my hope for using the pressurized basket was to be able to skip some steps to make a cappuccino using pre-ground coffee.
