Very nice product

It will last a long time but seems hard to unmold. The mold itself is quite thick making it harder to use. I love the texture finish.

This is a review of an Amazon Vine product. That said, I try to be honest and open in all my reviews.(Please see enclosed pictures.)This is a relatively large, thick mold. It will put up with a lot of use, probably dozens and dozens of castings.In practice, the thickness combined with the texture made this a bit of a challenge to demold. I used a liberal dose of silicone to pre-treat the mold. Even with that, it was a struggle to get the product out. The good news is that I was using a very high tensile strength acrylic and I was able to wrestle it out.If I had been using plaster of paris or some softer casting material then I probably would not have been able to get the candle holder out all in one piece, intact.I love the size and the look. Also be aware that this mold took close to 16 oz of resin between the body and the cap.All in all, this is a nice, durable mold as long as you use it with the right material and realize you need to mix a lot of casting material.
