when trying to find a screw to put drawer slides in 1/2" particle board, all the 'wood' screws I purchased were expensive and pulled right out second time I used the drawer. these inexpensive 'metal' screws have a very course thread, are very sharp, like self tapping screws and a thickness that works to hold the slides firmly on drawers.

These are so danged helpful in my shop. Great for securing thin wood or metal, attaching brackets to shelves. Strong, deep threads. Hard to find in stores.

The coating held up well. Sometimes if you handle things a little rough, the coating chips off. These were good.

use on heater doors, work just fine, super fast service, once I find what works I stay with it. So if you need a tuff gripping screw this is the one any size metal only

Great bag o' screws! I use them for mounting bottle openers to wood signs.
