Small, automatically opens
This bin has a motion detector to automatically open when a hand is close by enabling you to put rubbish in without having to worry about how you open the lid. You need 2 AA batteries, which are not supplied, and the bin does work in the intended manor. However, although the product is clear on the size, its a lot smaller than I expected from looking at the listing pictures. Aside from that my concern is durability, got a cheap plastic look and feel which I'm not convinced is worth the current asking price of £27.99

Infrared sensor doesn’t work properly
The idea of this touchless bin is good but the execution is poor. The infrared sensor is flaky and only works intermittently.Returned for a refund.

Easy to use
The media could not be loaded. I've mixed emotions about this bin. When I opened the box I was put off by the cheap plastic. However once set up (it takes 2 x AA batteries, which are not included) and I started to use it I liked it more. Senses your hand and opens ready for you. It's good but priced at £30.99 at time of review, I'm not sure I appreciate the automatic open and closing enough to warrant the much higher cost over a normal bin, hence the reduction in a star, due to value.
