Judas Priest - Original Album Classics

I NEVER been a fan of Turbo though it had 3 great tracks. Hope the new JUDAS PRIEST won't get back to the glam metal that killed Turbo. But Sin After Sin and British Steel are killer classic Priest of my time period of Judas Priest heyday. And the newer stuff like Painkiller and Angel of Retribution are great Killer classics as well in my book. Great boxset expect for Turbo as a historic misstep in Judas Priest career.

These are five of Judas Priest's best volumes of work. These are the mini album replicas but the bonus tracks are all there. I do not see any mention of remasters but they sure sound fantastic. They are on the same level as when Judas Priest released all of their work as the Remasters series in 2001.If you are a fan of the great heavy metal band Judas Priest this is a great buy! Hours of great metal for a twenty dollar bill.

If you want to rock out in your car to classic Priest, you can’t do much better than this. Especially for the price. The cds come in paper sleeves though, so you may want to grab a few jewel cases if that’s important to you.

Are you a metalhead on a budget, eager to get your hands on physical copies of your favorite recordings? Then this is a great head-start on a burgeoning CD collection. Are you a methodical collector on the lookout for some cheap but classic albums? Well, here's where things kind of go downhill: if you're just in it for the music, fine. But if you're looking for jewel cases and booklets you might be better off buying individual releases, as this set includes none of those. Instead, the CDs are contained in small "replicas" of their original vinyl sleeves--no lyrics, no liner notes, no foldout poster included in some re-releases. Regardless, whether you're one or the other, the ultimate decision also has to do with the selection: three irrefutable classics and two ho-hum albums that could've been replaced by any of Priest's other recordings. If you think of this as a ten buck discount on three essentials, then this isn't a bad deal. Not at all.

As advertised. Great collection. If you are not aware, the CDs are packaged in thin cardboard sleeves. The sleeves are replicas of the packaging used for the vinyl records. The bonus songs on each CD are added benefits.
