My partner recently needed to upgrade her laptop. She works with AutoCAD 3D and runs two 27” 2K monitors, so performance was a top priority. A desktop PC wasn’t an option since she needs to take the device to client meetings, and most mobile workstations we considered were priced well over £2,000. Instead, we explored gaming laptops, which offered similar specs—powerful processors, dedicated GPUs, and fast performance—at a more reasonable price. This one has been fantastic so far. We upgraded the RAM from 16GB to 32GB within a few days, as she was regularly maxing out the original memory. I’d never opened a laptop before, but swapping the RAM was surprisingly simple—just followed a one-minute YouTube tutorial and it was done. The laptop handles everything we throw at it: dual high-res monitors, 20+ browser tabs, and AutoCAD 3D running simultaneously. The cooling system is impressive—the fans kick in briefly when needed, and the whole system stays cool and responsive throughout the day. The power brick is huge, which could be a downside if you’re on the move a lot. But since it stays in one place 99% of the time, it hasn’t been an issue for us. One concern we had before buying was that it might look too much like a “gamer laptop” for professional settings. But honestly, the photos don’t do it justice—it actually looks sleek and understated in person, and she’s perfectly comfortable bringing it to meetings. Overall, it’s a powerful, well-cooled machine that’s been a great investment. Extremely happy with the choice.

So far it was excellently handled by the delivery driver, and it also looks great and very high quality. The power brick is bigger than what I was expecting and maybe what people will expect, but nothing too problematic or hard to handle though. So far value for money is solid, screen quality and audio looking great. I'll be trying it out for 3D modelling, animation and Unreal Engine work and 2D animation but so far excellent product. The fans or make a rather nice sound that reminds me of the waves of the sea. I looked around for this and have experience with Dell who do get a lot of flak, but stuff I got from them have all been pretty solid and last a long time. Have to see how this holds up and how it will run as I do 3D and unreal work on it.

Ordered this to replace another gaming laptop. The nature of a laptop is that it should be MOBILE. How mobile do we think this product is with a power pack the size of this? Please look at the picture. It weighs more than the laptop itself! Didn't even turn on... Just returned.
