Exactly as described works good

Used it to pick up hay and within a few minutes the plastic handle broke. The screws and very large nut caps used to assemble the tool limited the area where you could place your hand. Very basic to fabricate but done entirely wrong. Best to purchase a fork with a wooded handle.

For the price this is an ‘okay’ pitch fork, but definitely not a daily user in the barn when doing a big clean out of matted straw and debris. I mainly got this for my kids to help out with, it’s short with semi-blunt tips. Has been working fine, but I would not use this daily around the farm. Definitely just fine for pitching loose straw and the price reflects that.

I wanted a housewarming gift for a friend (she has chickens) and couldn't find a pitchfork locally. I was worried that this wouldn't be sturdy because it came in three pieces. Once together (my husband did have to help work the bolts into the holes) it was VERY study. Heavier than I expected. My friend likes it!!

Initially I was really happy with this, was using it turn some loose compost, etc. And did a good job. However, after 2 uses later the fork separated from the handle. Not for lack of tightening. Again one use was fine, next the fork was loose. I am keeping this mostly as back up now as don't trust it with the heavy stuff.

It was easy and straightforward to assemble this. Great for moving hay and leaves in my yard but not much else. The fault may be in the handle because it was the only part that cracked on me when turning dense compost in my composter. It works for what it is intended for but moving soil or dirt is too much for this tool.

Tig welded the fork back on then the cheap plastic handle broke next. I should have known better to by it. I did not read the reviews 😞

This works ok for light duty work such as moving hay or grass but not suitable for regular heavy duty work such as working dirt.

Nice heavy duty Pitch Fork...Illustration made it look like it was a single piece/pole. Shipped in 3 pieces. Although it appears to be a heavy enough grade of steel that it shouldn't be an issue.
