I bought the metal shelf unit and I had no issues with putting this together (once I paid attention to how the connecting pieces should be placed). I have found the unit to be stable and right now is supporting 5 plants. I would recommend it and the seller.

Purchased this plant stand to use on my porch. Written instructions were not great but it was easy to assemble visually. Hopefully the metal material will withstand the elements.

EDITED: It dawned on me last night that I could simply have used marine glue and glued on colorful "gems" from the Dollar Store, or even pennies, which would have been the right size to cover the holes in the top of the connectors. If I order another one, that's what I will do. I haven't actually used the stand yet, but it does appear sturdy. I gave it only 4 stars because of the terrible instructions. I did watch another customer's video about putting it together, which said it took two hours, so I was resigned (as a very unhandy person) to spending a whole afternoon putting it together, but happily, it only took 22 minutes. Once I figured out the configuration of how the connectors were supposed to go, and kept that firmly in mind with each rod I attached a connector to, it was pretty easy. I plan to use it outdoors, but noticed when I finished putting it together, that each connector had a hole in the top, supposedly to add more rods. This will be a problem during the very wet winters in my area. A friend suggested putting spray foam insulation in the holes, and then painting the insulation to match, so that is my plan. The manufacturer should have included little snap-in caps to take care of that problem. Also, other reviewers said a pair of gloves was included, and to be sure to wear them, otherwise your hands would get black. No gloves were included in my order, but nothing rubbed off on my hands, so perhaps the manufacturer has fixed that problem. And finally, there were a few extra parts left over, I guess in case somehow I ruined something in the construction phase.

I purchased the “A-Ladder-Black Outdoor” It was extremely easy to assemble, I barely needed the instructions and holds up pretty well. Loved it!

I ordered the “black ladder” stand. Very disappointed! The shelves sit lop-sided.. like the short poles are too short or the long poles are too long. Looks terrible! Got what I paid for.. spend a few extra bucks and get something better quality!

I recently purchased a plant stand and overall, I am quite satisfied with my purchase. The stand is well-made, sturdy, and adds a nice touch to my home decor. The design is stylish and complements my plants beautifully. However, my only complaint is that I wish the stand was taller. I feel that a taller stand would better showcase my plants and create a more visually appealing display. Despite this minor issue, the plant stand serves its purpose well and enhances the overall aesthetic of my space. Overall, I would rate the plant stand four stars for its quality and design, but I do wish it was taller for a more dramatic effect.
