Baby's First Eames: From Art Deco to Zaha Hadid

I am a parent that is design obsessed and have a bit of a chair collection and FINALLY there is a children's book that reflects our home/family in this unique interest. I suspect there are more of us out there. I am excited that my daughter will be able to read about some of the chairs in her nursery (Eames) and pieces we have in our home. It's never too early to teach the little ones about timeless and unique designs. I also love that this book features both designers and architects such as the late Zaha Hadid. Definitely 5 stars and I hope to see more of these types of books in the future. Buy it!

I am an elementary art teacher, and my father is a retired architect. I purchased this book to read to my one-year-old niece. I love the illustrations, I love the rhymes, and I will be using a copy in my classroom now too!!!! Not paid for this review, I seriously, honestly, am in love with this book and wanted to leave this review.

I love this book! Cute story and rhythm. Fun to read and find the cats in every page. It makes a great gift especially for parents in architecture/ construction

What a cool book! Absolutely love this! While it maybe well beyond the comprehension of the board book age group, the adults who are reading to children are in for a real treat. Little ones will adore the search for cats throughout the illustrations. What a delightful addition to change things up as you read to your children. An absolute must in a home where art and architecture are prized.

Ordered a number of mid-century themed board books for our infant, but this absolutely blew me away! Expected a very basic alphabet book with some images of mid-century design, pleasantly surprised by how in depth and specific to different architecture, designs, and designers the letter examples were. The book itself is large and very durable, with bright and cheerful art. Highly recommend this for any design fans (big or small!)

If you have an artist or architect or decorator in your family you are going to Love this board book for 1-3 year olds...the illustrations are wonderful and colorful and I had never seen anything quite like it...So a very fun new addition to my Children's Book Collection....For artistic minded people like me it was a wonderful find !!!! Love!

As an architect, I love this book! I will buy it for all my friends' babies! Very colorful, and full of interesting shapes/drawings. The shapes and drawings are the best architectural buildings and furniture pieces designed by the most famous architects and designers. Highly recommended!

This is an awesome book for a baby to dive into the design and architecture world. I am just in love and my baby too!
