Do the hollow doors or thin walls mean that you have to hear the constant hollers of "lay off me bro, you totally used a cheat!!" or "I'm gonna skibidi you into next week man!" ?? Does your middle age mind wonder why on earth they need to yell so loud using words that make no sense to you?Welcome to the fun life of parenting a teen gamer. Our house has terrible accoustics; whether its the laminate floors, cheap hollow doors, high ceiling in the main room, or just bad luck...I really don't know. But I am sound sensitive and my teen son yelling at his friends with his headphones on was driving me bananas. I didnt want to be a mean parent just cause Im sensitive to noise but I had to figure out a way to muffle the sound. This was a random hail mary purchase that helped alot!!! I purchased these not knowing if it would work or help at all. And we basically just put them all over the back of his door as we figuredthat was the weakest spot soundwise. I noticed the difference immediately!!! We can still hear him, but it no longer sounds like he's sitting right next to me yelling . I want to purchase more and cover more of the shared walls!

Has made life living next to someone who has 3 dogs in a one bedroom apartment (😐!) manageable! Moved in 6 months ago and haven’t been able to get for then 2 hours of sleep due to the barking. As a day sleeper (overnight worker here) I need sleep during the day lol! After figuring out the barking sounding loudest in my closet area I placed a few on the wall and bam! I slept a full 6 hours and woke up thinking it was 3 days later! 100% recommend. Does not block out the sounds 100% around 60% in my case. I also have 8ft rails and 3 puzzles currently hanging so the echo is maddening. Can’t fart without the whole apartment dant near vibrating lol. Again placed a few randomly around since they look my art pieces and again. It was instant. Turned the volumes down on my tv. Realized my dryer was louder than I thought. The damping is noticeable and works. Now when you walk by my apartment you will no longer hear my belting Jason Alden while building legos. I recommend to everyone.

Placed these on bedroom door in hope of dampening the nighttime cat noises. These are thick, dense tiles and the result has exceeded my expectations. The adhesive is is quite strong and I don't see any chance of them coming off. A quality product.

I bought these because my refrigerator is super loud at times, and I wanted something to muffle the noise. I placed these behind the fridge in the cubby area to absorb some of the sound. Overall, they work pretty well. Nothing amazing, but any reduction in noise is certainly appreciated. Decent value.
