I used to feel so guilty about all the plastic kitchen trash bags we were using. Now I feel great. These bags are truly biodegradable. There is so much “green washing” out there of bags that aren’t really that great, but the company makes environmentally-friendly claims anyway. By contrast, these bags are the real thing. The only caveat is to keep them away from wetness under the sink, because they will degrade and fall apart as they’re supposed to. Additionally, they will degrade in your trash can if you put coffee grounds in them without a wrapper. Otherwise they are strong enough to handle food waste for a week and keep their integrity on the way to the outdoor trash can.

Buy two boxes... very strong and decomposes.

I like that it lines the big trash cans given by our trash company, however, if the products are slimy or there is a lot of grass, twig, or brush debris, the bags can easily tear. I wish it would be stronger! I love the fact that I can get a lot and use them over the months. What I do is buy large rubber bands to hold the bags in place so they don't fall into the large cans!

I use these bags to hold waste from my pet goats. The thought that the bags as well as the waste can go back to the environment is very comforting. I encourage everyone to start using compostable/biodegradable bags and urge your law makers to make this into law. These bags are quite strong and hold up well. The only thing is that they send me the 96 gallon (!) instead of the 39 gallons. The bags themselves are great! Highly recommend!

Way overpriced!

These bags work great. They don't tear at all and love that they help the environment.

Each of thesee bags have a strengthened bottom, and therefor hold up quite well.

Seems pricey but these are hard to find. Large bag. Arrived quickly.

Bought a box of these bags as they were the perfect size to line my city compost bin. That criteria was met. What I didn’t expect was the speed at which the bag would break down. I mowed the lawn on Saturday and my compost pickup day was Friday. By the time Friday came, the bag had broken down to the point where it could not hold the grass anymore. Same story the following week.
