I recently purchased a Bissell Power Force (model 1739) from Walmart and grabbed a 3 pack of the Febreze scented paper bags. By the time the first bag was full and ready for replacement, the inside and outside of my vacuum was covered in a very fine dust. I cleaned the vacuum with a damp rag and put in a new Febreze bag. After using the vacuum a couple more times, I had the same result, so I ordered these bags in hopes of solving my nasty dust problem. I replaced the paper bag with one of these cloth-like Clean Fairy bags after cleaning up the vacuum with a damp rag once again. It's been about a week of daily vacuum use, and the inside AND outside of my machine is still dust free, with no loss of suction! This tells me that these bags hold the fine dust particles INSIDE THE BAG where they belong instead of allowing it to escape into the air. I actually threw away the rest of my Febreze paper bags! I'll be buying these from now on -- as long as they're available, and NEVER going back to the mediocre paper vacuum bags. These are MUCH CHEAPER and MUCH BETTER QUALITY than the expensive brand name bags. Stop searching and just buy these if your vacuum uses Bissell style 7 bags. You won't be sorry!

I don’t know why I got so caught up in shopping for just the right bag replacement for my type 7 Bissell upright vac, but in hindsight, I guess I did.I guess part of the reason had to do with the fact that I wanted to get a bunch of them so I wouldn’t have to keep re-shopping for this item I thought was obsolete, like this model of vacuum is. And then there’s the fact that once I began looking, there were cloth and paper types, which I don’t think were even available when I got the vacuum. But apparently there were/are enough of a demand for type 7 bags that rather than of finding them, the issue was of choosing which type and sales lot to choose.After looking through the multitude of offerings available on eBay, I’m glad I thought to see what Amazon had available before deciding. And after looking at ads and getting an idea what these are going for, I initially thought this ads price was a typo. Having come to the personal conclusion that cloth bags were the “premium” bags, or at least typically had the premium price, seeing 20 cloth bags for less than $1 each was exactly the kind of quantity I had in mind for a price I didn’t think possible even for paper bags.Upon receiving them, just like other reviewers, I was impressed by the quality of the materials and workmanship. It’s hard (to me anyway) to judge the absolute working performance of a vacuum bag, but other than not seeing any dust escaping, having seen the thickness and layers of the bag, which is also the filter for these vacs, I’m very confident in its performance compared to the single paper layer of the paper bags. So to me this is one of those where as best I can tell, it’s working great as it’s supposed to and looks like it’s been made to. But in the unlikely event that they only work good rather than great, their price makes it easy to forgive any difference that I’m not personally able to appreciate anyway.There was mention made of the size of these being smaller than OEM bags. Indeed, they are marginally smaller, but with size being a relative attribute, they’re still bigger than bags of a smaller vac. And since I usually like to change bags before they get full and inefficient, this is a non-issue as far as I’m concerned

Unlike many "value" vacuum cleaner bags, these are quality made and will hold together even when full. They allow good suction, but thinner bags will give a bit better suction until they break before they're half full. I've used 4-5 of them so far. Now if I could only find where I stored the rest...

For far less than the supermarket. These are dust free, thick and strong. I have lots of pets and these bags do the job with no dust inside my vacuum.

The bags look like they are of good quality. They fit the machine perfectly and the price for 20 was very good. A lot better than the big box stores that sell only 3 to a pak at a high dollar. So I am very happy and they arrived 2 days early. BONUS!Thanks Amazon!
