The unit works well and it was easy to set up
The unit works well and it was easy to set up. My only negative comment was that the keys are suppose to light up when using the keyboard in the dark. It does light up once you turn on the unit but soon after the backlight goes out. It is possible that the unit was defective and I didn't realize it bc I hadn't used it in the dark to notice the backlight not staying on until long after I received it. However I recently found out how to keep the backlight on. Press the "Fn" key and the "Win" key ( has a pic of a bulb on it) at his keeps the light on

Small touchpad, decent battery life.
Cons: Battery life is a few days of extended typing.Touchpad is too small for comfortable extended use.Scrolling is even more difficult...also due to the touch pad that can be almost completely covered by my thumb. This is NOT backlit, even though the some users have gotten a backlit model and the thumbnail image for the listing shows a model with RGB lighting... however, the lighting would greatly reduce the battery life so it's probably better that it doesn't have one.The charging port should be on the top, not the bottom. The current placement makes one-handed use quite difficult while charging.PROs: I can type extensively on this without strain and wrote this review with it.Firm key presses.Shoulder buttons are great options since right-click and left-click are kinda hard to do on such a small touchpad (I also have it at so high of a sensitivity that if I try to click the mouse pointer moves)Pretty solidly built.i can use it with one hand when needed and still be able to hit any key combinations I need with just that one hand. It's worth mentioning that the house button loads the home page in my browser rather than acting as the "home key"To get the home key hit Fn+Left button, End is Fn+Right, Pg Up is Fn+Up... These combos are not listed on the keyboard so it took a while before I found them.

Great Price, Has all Features
There are so many of this same style controller available, all pretty similar. I purchased this one based on price, backlight, key layout, and features. It has all of the needed keys, has upper L and R keys. Mouse works well, none of the buttons seem to be mis-mapped or nonfunctional. My only change to this would have been switching sides with the D-Pad and player buttons, but that is why I have 3 other controllers, 2 of which do.

Decent KB-Touchpad, Cheap price, .. touchpad issues developing over time, with light usage
2020 update: For those who are confused ... say what is in the picture vs reviewer's pictures ... this listing use to be for a totally different model ... same brand, but it use to look more traditional with the touchpad on the top vs in the middle ... I have seen a number of people confused .... in my view the person doing the listing should have created a new page for the new model (which i dont have but may be a great product) vs updating/changing a listing for another mini keyboard by the same brand... hope this helps-------------------------------I have had this Reiie Keyboard for a few days and I have not decided (I will get to that), if I am keeping it or not, but really it IS what I expected and there is only one big hiccup for me ... and really it's a key reason I bought this. Having said this ... keeping this model and looking at a good price on one with this feature in question IS an option I am considering. The issue? ... Well PAY ATTENTION to the description and not just the answered Amazon questions, reviews, and even.. though i think this changed ... they had a colorful back-lit picture as the main image, if i recall) ... this exact model DOES NOT have a back-lit of any kind, and IF i return this for a model that is almost identical but at LEAST has a white back light only .. this would be the reason.** Again there is NO BACKLIGHT of any kind on this exact model .. despite a few answers AND a few pictures showing there are either a white or multi-color backlight **Pros/"eh it's not great but it's not a Con":- The buttons for me are just fine ... not too crammed together, and I do have longer fingers and am NOT use to a mini-keyboard and even I say it's pretty good. I have mis-typed a few times, when looking at the keyboard as I type, but that has to do with the other issue I mentioned and more "I didn't have a good light on, and this KB has no backlight" then any real issue with the keyboard key spacing- (with OTG Adapter with a USB Hub even,... though the hub is optional) Even works with the Amazon Firestick - note though that this is hit or miss ... say in your home screen there is no touch-pad functionality but in a number of apps I use like Kodi, Spotify, Youtube/Firefox/Amazon's Silk browser, Pandora the touchpad works and maybe it's because I am not use to it yet, but I have an air-mouse/KB on the other side, that I do like alot for other reasons, but this touchpad is MUCH easier to use with say a Firefox or Kodi on a Raspberry Pi, versus the air-mouse for me. I will not go into my issues with the air mouse part but basically this touchpad is alot more in the department of "it goes where you tell it to, vs sometimes going out of sync with how far and fast you're moving your arm/hand" (regarding the cursor).- plug and play - I say this for the Amazon Firestick and I also have to say I have tried this with LibreElec (Kodi) on a pi 2 and it pretty much works out of the box ... you may (Kodi addon) want to try Keymap Editor to map certain keys to certain buttons for your individual tastes (like shortcuts to common functions you'd want to use ) but there is not really anything to do with say the arrow/enter keys and such Kodi wise .. it's "plug it in and it works"- Construction (part 1 ) - knowing there is a part 2 below in "Cons" .. the buttons for what this device is and the price point vs say something that is much higher quality but maybe in the say (example) $35+ range ... well the buttons feel really good ...I have seen some keyboards (there seem to be a ton of clones of ones like this, ... some good ... some 100% no brand name of any kind anywhere) that look like this, where THEY seem to have a really CHEAP (quality) feeling when pressing the keys and "this will not last long" may come to mind. ... this I am not saying will last a long long time, but ... it has that "yeah it's plastic, but it feels good for the price range" feeling to me.Neutral:- Firestick - This is hit and miss on the Firestick to a point. Let me explain. On the main menu/Home screen for the Firestick there is no touchpad support BUT the arrow/enter keys work fine. .. in different apps (say Firefox or Kodi with a long list of stuff) the touchpad and stuff like two finger scrolling, are PERFECTLY ok. I have even seen the touchpad sensitively seemingly different in different apps … say App 1 the cursor “flies across the screen” ..while in App 2 … it works and it’s 100% responsive … dont get me wrong … it’s just less sensitive then say “App 1”.- So far I have been off and on using this for awhile and it came charged out of the box, and I have yet to even untangle the usb cord that this gets charged with … aka the battery has lasted for a bit of light to moderate testing and so far it’s working perfectly without a need for a recharge.I think I saw that this “takes 3 hours” or so to recharge and that is about the time for my older model Sandisk Mp3 players to fully charge and that is “to be expected” …. that DOES remind me of a Con though (see below)Con:- PLEASE NOTE: I knew this right away and I knew this would be an issue since this is one of the many Mini-KB's that do NOT have "infrared learning" ... THE ONES WITH this feature are typical more money and this allows you to say program basic tv remote functions to at least some buttons on the mini-keyboard. My prior mentioned KB/Air-mouse has this and I programmed the power button on that to control my TV's power .... I was never under the impression that this type of KB without learning could do that, but it'd be great to have ... I cant even truely consider this a "con" more of a "i wish this model for this price, had that" feeling.- construction (part 2) - I know i was not getting a super high quality product but it does have that "cheap plastic" feeling at times ... granted I have NOT HAD ANY ISSUES ... just to be clear .. but it does SEEM like a cheaper plastic type of device.- I cant speak for how long this lasts, over months- The Documentation while not as bad as the REALLY broken English on the documentation on the mentioned airmouse in this review … the documentation on this could use some improvements .. I didn’t even need it but some users may and reading that will get them confused.- This is the Con that the battery comment reminded me of … while there is a charging cable you can plug into your computer to charge, there is no USB/AC adapter included. I have one already but if you do not have one, you may want to pick one up for a few bucks so you can recharge plugged into a normal AC outlet, no computer needed. Some people may have one or two laying around anyway, and basically all THIS is, is a AC adapter on one side and a female USB port (like on any computer) on the other side … you just plug the charging cable into that and the adapter into a wall outlet.Bottom Line:- This is not the best, it’s not the worst… it’s one of the top brands I see on different reviews, vs the no-brand mini keyboards that look identical and the quality may not be as good on those .. but … this is not a high quality, great plastic quality type of device, but it “gets the job done” and feels generally good. Like I said I MAY or may not return this to get an identical one (the price matters if I do) to this with maybe a white or colored back light and as I said that is one of the key reasons I picked this one up .. I THOUGHT it had a light on it. OTHER THAN THAT … it’s what I expected and if you don't say pay over $15 ( USA ) for this model which is $9.99 at the time I am typing this … yeah it’s a decent buy … maybe do what I am thinking and pay a few bucks more to get one with a light (that can be turned off during the day) … but this one is not bad and … so far I’d “recommend this”, but just do your homework and know what you’re getting vs doing what I did and look at the reviews and pictures on what seems like a different modelAdded: I do now notice one issue with the KB if you hold it say how you would hold one of the other "mini-keyboard/touchpad" units your hand completely covers the IR sensor ... the problem I have seen with (I cant remember if it was on this KB/Remote or just other mini keyboards) "keyboard clicks missing clicks" may have been because of this issue .. if you keep your hand off of the left side so it's not over the remote sensor (which does feel a bit odd in the way you have to hold it) everything is a-ok.... this is not a bit issue but it is something to noteSept. 2019 Update:Note: the one I have looks like the older models vs what is currently pictured on AmazonIt's been less than a year and while I cant say that I have not used this much .. .I would say somewhat ...sort of daily but LIGHT use .... I have been running into issues with the touchpad being activated whenever I use the arrow keys/enter key ... it's REALLY annoying ... it causes me to go into menus that I never wanted and I have to keep hitting Esc to get to the prior menus when this acts up ... it doesn't seem (I tried this) to be related to a low battery or something ... the trackpad just gets triggered even when not one finger is CLOSE to the trackpad itself

Perfect value of price and quality
5 stars for the price. The quality is much better than i expected and has a little bit of weight to it making it feel more premium. Touchpad is single input so no dual finger tricks, but it is very sturdy and doesnt flex even with good force put on it. Doesnt feel $8 flimsy either which is very nice. Only downside is reception, my bed is behind a recliner and with the keyboard under my blankets and behind the chair to my computer 8 feet away can sometimes not pick up inputs. It also has trouble reading inputs of keypresses if you dont press hard enough or it glitches out. Overall for the price it was all i needed to be able to use my pc on my tv when im going to bed and i even tried minecraft out using it, with some practice id say its playable.
