Wonderful product!
I just received my package this morning. Everything was packed properly and it was super easy to put together with just the three screws. The wood is really sturdy and a beautiful finish. We put our knives on it and the magnet is very strong and reliable for different weights. I’m so excited to use this in my kitchen!

Knifer holder, magnetic
Upon my recent acquaintance with the magnetic knife holder you observed above, I found it an object of utility and considerable aesthetic merit. This knife holder, distinguished by its absence of slots, utilizes a double-sided magnetic design, providing an ample and versatile platform for storing various culinary blades. The primary material, wood, gives this piece a pleasing, natural look that complements my kitchen decor. Because the holder doesn't have set slots, I can place knives flexibly, depending on their size and preference. This flexibility is advantageous because it accommodates a wide range of knives, from small paring to larger chef's knives.Keep in mind the following:The knife holder's magnetic strength is impressive for securely holding the knives in place. However, it's essential to be cautious. If the holder is not firmly anchored on my counter, the force needed to remove a well-affixed knife can destabilize the stand.Furthermore, the exposed blades present a safety concern. The open display of sharp edges can invite risk in households with young children or pets. The wooden magnetic knife holder is a stylish and practical way for me to organize and display knives, improving accessibility and enhancing kitchen decor. However, due to its design, I carefully consider its placement and usage to prevent potential mishaps from probing tiny hands.

Weak magnets and too-short backing can't hold professional chef knives
Darn. It's very pretty, but it's built for the cheapy knives you buy at Walmart or Target. If you have a professional knife that's a little heavier, then the magnets in this board won't hold. Your knife will slip until the tip wedges into the base.

A beautiful alternative to knife blocks.
The YelloIris Magnetic Knife Holder is a terriffic alternative to the traditional knife block, especially if youʻve invested in quality blades and enjoy seeing them in their full glory. Obviously this works only on steel bladed knives and not ceramic or other non-ferrous materials. I like that you can attach almost any shape or sized knives to both sides of the holder, and have found that the best way to retrieve your blade is to just pull straight up, as the embedded magnets are strong enough that any pull from the side will tip the whole thing over. Unfortunately, my unit managed to slip through QC, as the screws did not align with all the holes (which was easy enough to correct with a drill), and the ends of the base were not finished/varnished completely (see pictures). Nonetheless, I like this alternative to the knife block and instead of relegating it to kitchen duty, I plan to use it to display my collectible knives instead.
