Worked great on a recent trip to the Virgin Islands. I’d never snorkeled before and these were easy to get the hang of. Note to self….you MUST wear a mask or plug or your nose because without it you’ll give yourself a comprehensive sinus enema…ask me how I know…. I swim well and have never needed to plug my nose before, and only rarely wear goggles, so it hadn’t occurred to me 🙄 that I would need something. Luckily I practiced in our local pool before I was out in open water! Haha! I nearly drowned! Not really but I was glad I could put my feet down while coughed and snotted myself clear. I thought my husband would say I was doing something wrong but, he just laughed and said you definitely have to wear a mask. I love how you can clasp these on to any mask. I brought my snorkel on the trip and then rented goggles and fins there. Did you know they have “prescription” goggles?! I didn’t. The first trip I was blind but got to practice diving down to see and then coming back up and clearing the tube super easy even for beginner. The next dive I got the special mask and it was much more enjoyable. The biggest “trick” with the snorkel is to remember not to breathe out all your air before you need to come up. You’ll need some left to clear the valve. The valve process even made it so I could handle some minimally “rough” seas without having to pick up my head, while swimming along looking down at stuff. It’s super light, came with a breathable bag (not mesh so it’s keeps some of the sand contained but doesn’t get things moldy, and fit really nicely in my carry-on. I honestly have no cons at this time but I haven’t used it for multiple extended trips. So your mileage may vary.

We bought this snorkel for underwater video shoots, primarily choosing it for its good price. We needed something budget-friendly yet reliable, and this snorkel fully met our expectations—so much so that we now use it for personal dives as well. The main advantage is the dry valve, which truly works. During filming, we dove to different depths, and the snorkel didn’t let water in, making the process much easier. Another plus is the comfortable mouthpiece. It’s soft, doesn’t rub against the gums, and feels great even after extended use. The snorkel’s shape is convenient, doesn’t restrict movement, and attaches securely to a mask. In the end, even though we originally got it for work, we now use it for personal diving too.

Good snorkel, stays dry, easy to clear and not in the way.

Bought this snorkel for a trip to Hawaii; I already have my own fins and mask and I figured I might as well bite the bullet and completely kit myself out. This snorkel worked exactly as advertised, and the valve function, which prevents you from accidentally inhaling water that slips through the top of the tube was exactly what I needed! I didn't spend any time free-diving, just snorkeling on the surface, but even then it was helpful to have that additional function. My poor boyfriend rented his snorkel and had a lot of problems with it and his mask. I'll probably buy another one of these for him the next time we go diving. I did have one issue: The mouthpiece was a little wide for me (I'm a 5'1" woman and I guess my head area is proportional to that size), so it became uncomfortable; but only after more than an hour of snorkeling or so. Generally, I think it'd be comfortable for adults and kids alike (let's face it, there are a lot of kids out there who are bigger than me).

Great snorkel for the money. Just finished my third scuba trip with it. It travels well in a jam-packed carry-on without deforming the mouthpiece. Hangs off to the side out of the way -you don't know you're wearing it when you're scuba diving. One day was particularly bad where I got sea sick on the boat, but before that when I was bobbing in the ocean, no water got into the snorkel. Great product!
