What a waste of money on this item. I wold like to return it. My daughter got a box for me and a box for her auntie, i used it once two days ago for first time and I regret it. It took me more time to clean the inside of the clear part then if I had boiled my eggs the usual way she’ll on.

Our farm fresh eggs are unable to be peeled for hard boiled eggs, so this is extremely nice using these to be able to have hard boiled eggs.

I had tow problems with these. I was really excited to get them because I like soft boiled eggs and I expected these to make that easier. I sprayed the cups and put them in boiling water per the instructions. At 3 minutes, what I would use for soft boiled eggs, the egg whites had partially solidified on the bottom, so I swirled the cup and put them back. After checking every 2 minutes the whites looked solid so I took them out. the center of the top was still runny and clear and the yolks were starting to solidify. So this will not work for soft boiled eggs. Also, the cup washed up against the side of the pan and melted. The lid no longer comes off. All-in-all, rather disappointing.

filled with oil to make sure egg whites wouldnt stick. took 55 min to cook them to a boil, then they stuck to the side. put these in the washer inside out and egg was still sticking to it. tried these several times before just throwing them out. giving two stars bc the outside did cool quickly so you could use them with your hands and did not need mits. i have a silicone baking tray and that works, these do not

Just make sure that you oil them prior to use. It’s really easy to forget that step, but if you do, you will have a mess on your hands. Your opinion of these egg cups will have a lot to do with what you want to use your eggs for. I like them because we have chickens, and it’s incredibly hard to peel fresh eggs. My kids love to eat them hard boiled, so this worked out perfect for me. Now would I use these to make deviled eggs and put them down in front of company? Absolutely not. The bottom half of the bold egg looks perfect as the cup is curved. The top, however, is flat so it looks like half of a boiled egg. There are there are also a lot of pock marks on the egg surface.Let me summarize: it does what I need it to do, but the results aren’t pretty.

I feel there is some luck to using these. I constantly battled them turning over in the pot if there was even slightly too much water in there. This is because that plastic screw on top makes them a bit top heavy. They also insulate the egg away from the hot water compared to an eggshell resulting in much longer cooking times.To be fair they were easy to get eggs into and out of, and easy to clean up as long as you sprayed a little cooking spray in them beforehand.Overall I used them 3-4 times and had at least one problem each time so they went directly into the garbage. Peeling eggs is easier than dealing with the BS these things created.

Some say that "Surfing is the Source" and It will change your life. Well, these egg cookers are my "Source" and they changed my life. I say this with tears in my eyes. You chickens better hide your eggs, I'm a comin' after them.

Really cool how you could add flavor to a hard boiled egg however the egg gets stuck to this. It hard to get the egg out and hard to clean but over all pretty cool.
