It was a great gift for our grandson the float ability was good gift for the money

If you're looking for a gift for like a friend or a brother or a desk or something of that nature. This is quite the deal, and everybody wants to play with it or look at it and it is just fun non-stop to look at

I like that it has a switch that allows you to turn off the light in the frame, and then the light in the globe (which is pretty cool itself). The only downside is the globe spins pretty fast. We'd all want to get off if the earth spun that fast. Then again, it might just throw us all off into space at that speed! :-).

I’m not sure why “levitation” seems so magical, when we know full well that magnets are providing the magic. But sometimes it’s better not to ask the questions, and just sit back and enjoy.Everyone at our house, from young child to adult, enjoys looking at this floating globe. It can be frustrating to set it up; sometimes you get it first try, other times you fail many times before it finally levitates properly. I wish there were more full proof way of getting it set up. But once it’s set up, it will remain working until you either shut it off, or somebody nudges the globe, and it snaps to the magnet at the top of the circle.The globe is certainly more interesting to look at if it’s spinning. But it is also hard to get spinning if you use your finger. We found it was more reliable to blow on one side of the globe in order to get it spitting. Once it starts spinning, it will spin for a very long time.We like how it subtly changes color over time — that adds some visual interest.4/5 stars. This is a hit at our house, but I’m taking off a total of one star because it can be frustrating to set up, and I’ve seen others with more interesting designs – and sometimes they’re cheaper than this one.

I am absolutely delighted with the Poojaed Magnetic Levitating Globe Lamp! This cool gadget is a fantastic addition to my office desk. I was advised that this gift I gave didn’t work so that’s a little sad. Boxing is also very evidently made in China. So if you don’t want to gift something that looks cheap don’t buy this.
