Connection is poop
The glasses part themselves is really good, polarized and stops most of the major glare. The hinge part that connects to the reading glasses is cheap, and shoddy

Cheaper version of prescription shades
Genuinely adds such a funky style to any pair of prescription glasses , bought these for my son as a bit of a funny gift, however he actually wears it everyday, it’s practice and saves carrying 2 pairs of glasses , and is a way cheaper option than perscription Sunny’s, the up blocking is decent as well considering the price and does the job like any standard sunglasses

Aviator look
Great for those of us with prescriptions to have protection.Gives great cover to the eyes.My only issue is the clasp feels fragile but has held it's strength so far.

Nice oversized clip on
The media could not be loaded. Coming boxed with cleaning cloth, replacement clip rubbers, the glasses themselves and a case.First i love newer polarised insist on proving theyre polarised with these little cards that only show through a camera/polarised lense instead of the old school methord of rotation the lense n such, its good to know and shows confidence in their product. The item itself is all metal with a nice STRONG clamp, the lenses are large enough to easily cover 90% of the glasses out there with a nice and dark light filter without making things hard to see. The included cloth, spare clips and case are all of a high quality also.

Nice sunglasses, work reasonably well
These work reasonably well. A good amount of light is cut out and I can see clearly, good contrast and without any distortion or too much colour shift. In my case they fit the shape of one of my pairs of varifocal glasses very well - I use them for driving, mostly and find over-clips invaluable because they act as sunglasses but I'm still able to see controls, satnav and dashboard as well as the road and distant objects. These clip-ons don't seem to suffer from internal reflections like some I have.Polarised lenses work best to cut down glare when the polarisation is perfectly horizontal. These have one lens perfectly horizontal but the other is a good 20 degrees off horizontal.I have a polarised photographic filter so I can check by looking at the sunglasses through it and rotating them till light is cut down to almost nothing. On the right lens this happens when the sunglasses are at 90 degrees, but on the left the sunglasses are rotated to about 70 degrees when minimum light is achieved. This has the effect of making the left lens brighter and less effective at cutting glare from reflections under some circumstances. The clip-ons are otherwise a good, high quality item. The hinge-up clasp is sturdy and works well, nicely made and finished in a dark chrome.Shame about the lighter left lens issue because otherwise these are a very good pair of overclips - I wonder if it's a one-off manufacturing error that has crept in to my item rather than a universal problem with the product.

Excellent very dark clip-on sunglasses
If you use prescription glasses and need sun protection these clip-on polarised sunglasses solve the problem. This particular style is very dark so not appropriate for driving but is very good at protecting eyes from harsh sunlight. They are very nicely packaged with a smart carrying case and a cleaning cloth. They clip very firmly on glasses and flip up easily so they don’t need to be removed when not needed.Recommended.

Not fit for purpose
I ordered these as I wanted polarising sunglasses for driving but I didn’t want the expense of getting a prescription pair. I thought that these would be a good option. However they’re an unusual shape and they didn’t fit my spectacles very well. In fact I doubt they would fit most normal shaped spectacles.I would expect polarising sunglasses to block about 50% of unpolarised light but these seem a lot darker than that.Under UK law all sunglasses should be labelled to show which of five density categories they come under. These sunglasses are not labelled. So for driving in the UK they’re not fit for purpose and could possibly lead to points on my licence if I were to be stopped by the police when wearing them.UPDATEAfter I posted my review the manufacturer contacted me via emial and saidI want to clarify that the pair you purchased is categorized as CAT4, which is indicated in the product title and description. CAT4 sunglasses are indeed very dark and not suitable for driving, as they block a significant amount of light. It's true that the Amazon product listiing says that they're category 4 which I'd missed but the packaging has no mention of the category although it's a legal requirement in the UK to list the category on the product or the packaging. Also the packaging clearly says that they're suitable for driving and the Amazon product listing shows a picture which suggests flipping them up when entering a tunnel, checking the navigation screen or entering a store or gas station. So despite what they said in theor email the manufacturer obviously intends them to be used for driving. The website of the UK Automobile Association (https://www.theaa.com/driving-advice/safety/driving-in-sunglasses) says that category 4 sunglasses with 3% to 8% transmission are only suitable for use in very bright sunlight and are not legal fro driving in the UK under any lighting conditions. So if I was wearing these clip on sunglasses to drive and I was stopped by the police I could get a fine of up to £5000 for dangerous driving and could possibly be banned from driving.I previously gave these clip on sunglasses a one star rating and even with the manufacturer's clarification email I won't increase this
