The purpose of the membrane is to purify the water, eliminating 99% of virus, bacteria, heavy metal and several other contaminants which exist in our everyday running water. This pack of filters is compatible with 99% of non-compact osmosis equipment. We recommend replacing filters every 6 to 12 months, depending on water type and use. We recommend replacing the membrane after a maximum of 24 months.
