Moleskine 2015 Daily Planner, 12 Month, Extra Small, Black, Hard Cover (2.5 x 4)

It's perfect for its size, though as a "planner", strictly defined, it may seem a bit vague. The pages are unruled. However, its small size precludes micro-management, so unruled pages are the best way to go here. Every day of the year is accorded a full, dated page, even Sundays. Because of this, it's too thick to carry comfortably in a jeans pocket; but it otherwise is compact enough to carry in a coat pocket, backpack or handbag. When I ordered it I was concerned that its small size might make it too fiddly, but I can see (can't really use it until 2015) that it will do just fine for jotting down quick notes, phone numbers, etc. Like all hard cover Moleskines, it has a sewn binding and the pages lay flat. Unless you are a Zen Master of brevity, this probably is not the thing for an aspiring Pepys, but it excels as a daily jotter. Some added bonuses: No concerns about battery life, signal, data usage, syncing. Easily updated with only a pen or pencil. Cannot crash, self-erase, be hacked, or be surveilled by the NSA. Spam-proof, malware-proof, adware-proof. Safe against solar flares and EMPs. Can be used (with optional matches, which can be carried in the little pocket inside the back cover) for a signalling flare, or as kindling in a wilderness scenario. Try to find an app that does that.

Pages are very thin. Bought it to use as a sketchbook and its not ideal.

Love this little planner. Use it everyday for work. It fits perfectly in my uniform pocket.

Very nice for carrying it in a small bag/pocket but I think I prefer slightly bigger version because in this one there are just blank pages without the lines to write on.
