I grew up with hamsters when the habit-trail was the best there was. This is like a hamster palace! I wish it were constructed with solid wood but this is clearly a laminate with most likely compressed wood inside. Seems very solid though and only time will tell if this is truly chew proof. My litte girl absolutely loves her new habitat! Plenty of room to add lots of bedding for natural burrowing and flexibility to change the set up for enrichment. I wish it came with 2 safety latches and the front plexiglass while very convenient because it lifts for cleaning does rattle if you touch it. Would be nice if it were a more snug fitting. Assembly was very easy even with the allen wrench provided, came with 2 extra screws. You do need to use a little elbow grease to get the threads to catch. It all aligned up perfectly, I've assembled many things that didn't so this was a very nice surprise. I'd absolutely recommended this cage. It can get pricey furnishing but it wss so much fun.

This enclosure is so big and beautiful! My two mice have more than enough space to Rome and explore and borrow to their hearts contents. The included snaplock works perfectly and allows my children to interact with them without having to undo a complicated lock. Originally purchased a less expensive, full acrylic enclosure that came broken and replaced it with this one. Needless to say you get what you pay for. The quality is beautiful and the enclosure is modern and aesthetically pleasing.

This was a great buy. It was exactly the size we were looking for. The only reason I didn't give it 5 stars, was because the liner in the bottom. They give you this clear liner to add to the bottom so no waste can destroy the exterior. Our hamster started chewing the corners of this plastic liner, so we just removed it. Also, I wish there was way to make hanging things work easier. Some of the stuff we wanted to add to our hamster's cage required them to be hung, but only came with hooks and the top of this cage has more of slats, so you can't really hang anything unless you get really creative. Also, you will have to buy a seperate standing food/water station as none of the regular water dispensers that hook will work. We love the design and it is very safe, even our cats have a hard time getting in it and they have tried.

This cage was very easy to assemble. I did need to use a drill which I wasn’t expecting but it was a very easy build even using a drill. One of my favorite things about this cage is the way the door opens, the door lifts and you have a full range of motion to put your things wherever you’d like. It also comes with a lock! My hamster has a bigger space than ever now, this cage is wider, taller, and longer than my previous cage for him. Both, my hamster and I are very pleased with this purchase!
