I am changing my review from :"5 months old and leather has split mid way making it unusable. Window to return has closed months ago so not such a great purchase after all. Buckle OK so will have to buy new leather. Shame, thought this was a quality item."After leaving this review the seller contacted me and sent free of charge a replacement belt so although disappointed the first one broke I am more than happy to change this to a 5 star review as the customer service was excellent and I again have a working belt.I did buy a second one a couple of months after the first and this one is still perfectly fine with no imperfections so I wonder now if I was just unlucky with the first one.It really is a nice item, the buckle and release mechanism work well and looks smart and modern.So back to 5 stars, the follow up service was very courteous and professional!

Wow this is a fabulous leather belt and beautifully packaged up, it makes an ideal gift for any man who is in need of a smart black leather belt. It’s very good value for money especially with the high quality packaging it arrives in, very well packaged up to avoid damage in transit. I have bought many belts and some more expensive but not so good and with quality at such a cheap price. They have brought it very well presented and packaged. It is a robust and elegant belt. I needed it for work and it is a success. The materials are of very good quality. I recommend it 100%

I bought this at the end of January and it's snapped at the end of May. To make it worse I'm on holiday at moment. 4 months of use, this doesn't sound like a quality item to me!

Bought this for my partner to wear to a funeral. He said it was easy to put together and got compliments on it. It’s a nice accessory for a man that wears limited pieces. Stands out nicely but not too much.

The look, feel, heft and function are almost indistinguishable. I do not feel like I am wearing a cheaper product with the Jiniu, rather the buckle is quite handsome. I thought that I would replace the buckle initially with the Mission Belt buckle, but decided I liked the Jiniu buckle too much.Comparing to my Mission Belt, the buckle and belt are very similar. The ratcheting is compatible between the two, I can put a Mission Belt Buckle on the Jiniu Belt or a Jiniu Buckle on the Mission Belt. So far the leather has held up similar to the Mission Belt leather. However, the wear is difficult to tell, as the Mission Belt held up very well for a long time then rapidly disintegrated, as can be seen in the pictures. I have not had the Jiniu for the same period of time.I also purchased a seemingly comparable Vinicio belt at the same time as the Jiniu:http://amzn.to/2n4DI4BThe Jiniu is far superior in the quality, compared to the Vinicio, as can be seen in the pictures. For almost the same price, the Jiniu is a much nicer belt.The Jiniu belt arrived in a very nice box, I believe there was additional material inside the box which I no longer have but I do still have the box, and provided pictures of it below. The box gave the impression that I had received a product of quality, and I have not been disappointed with what was inside. The material the box is made of has a nice texture, and the logo is embossed in silver foil.
