Battery worked perfectly well and came with everything I needed to put it in the switch, turned out it was the charging port not the battery

Quick and easy to swap over if you’re capable to do such things, my only problem was the glue sticks were longer than the battery and for a length style battery not square, but over come this by cutting them and crisscrossing across back of battery instead.

A bit tricky to remove original battery on switch (tip, use isopropyl alcohol!) but this is a perfect replacement for it. I didn't need the extra tools as I already had them but very handy to come with them if needed!

don't not buy this set! The screw drivers has damaged all my screws.

As fter removing only a couple of screws the screwdriver lost it's shape. For fear of damaging the screws I have had to abandon changing the battery a dwait to hear back from the seller

Used this kit to try and fix my switch. The screwdriver was horrific and unable to get any of the screws undone. The battery once in had a good life, I would compare it to the switches own maybe not quite as long lasting. I didnt get to fully experience this battery as my issue turned out to not be in the battery but the charging so I couldnt charge it back up. Other than the issue with the screwdriver issue the tools to pop it all up were great. Make sure to take care in not popping the battery as it can be dangerous if you are replacing your own switchs battery.

Couldn't even try battery as screwdrivers provided are made from butter after removing 4 screws screwdrivers lost its shape and started damaging screws so I stopped but unfortunately destroyed one screw. KEEP AWAY FROM THAT SH.... PRODUCT People selling such a crap destroy Amazon reputation. I will definitely never again buy unbranded rubbish

The battery stopped working after 2 months UPDATE: I was wrong, the battery still works. After buying 2 more batteries I discovered that the issue was the M92T36 chip inside of the console. It's a power component that commonly fails in old switches. When the battery fully discharges the switch fails to charge again. An easy fix that may work for some is to plug in a slow charger into the console. You can use a usb c cable plugged into a laptop port or a wall charger that does less than 15w charging. Alternatively, you could take the console to a repair shop to have the console diagnosed and repaired. Or if you have the micro soldering equipment and skills you can diagnose and repair yourself.

Just installed the battery a few days ago. So far works as described. Installation wasn't difficult. Fists very well in the Nintendo. Tools came included. Tools also worked well. screws are a little tight just be careful when removing them. So far i recommend this product.

The battery is a compatible replacement for the Nintendo Switch MOD HAC-001(-01). There are many online videos on how to replace the battery. The one tool works well and remove the outer screws. The other screwdriver did not work at all on any of the inner screws, it was too big. The plastic prybar tool was essential until I had to remove the old battery. Nintendo is using some kind of GREAT tape. Not only did I break the prybar, but I almost broke the plastic tool I use for automotive trim removal trying to get this battery out. It would have also been helpful to have some instructions on how to apply the new EXTREMELY sticky battery mounting tape. Also, a tweezers would be helpful with this kit since every screw is the size of a grain of rice or smaller. Bottom line - good product but poor tools. My advice would be to use your own tools.

Absolutely works perfect just have to be careful since it has no foam on the battery itself to keep it from wiggling a little but the double sided tape was absolutely great for holding the battery in!
