Really good quality.
I iron nearly every day and this is a heavy iron which I love. There are two things I which I wish were different: It doesn't have a shut off and it doesn't have a spray feature. It does have a good steam pulse, however. If I want some spray, I keep a spray bottle of water near my ironing board. It heats up quickly.

You will look for something to iron when you have this combo!
Love this iron steamer combo! The water tank allows you to iron multiple pieces without refilling the tank and the cord from the tank leading to the iron gives you enough reach that makes ironing not seem like a chore. The automatic shut off is great along with the locking mechanism as I leave this on the side of my extra wide ironing board.

Great iron
I have an iron I bought a year ago but it never got very hot and produced a poor amount of steam. This iron is a game changer! Gets hot and produced great steam. It is a big iron though and heavier but so much better than my old one!

Not the same as it used to be
I owned the same model for 10 years (the picture is of the old one). It worked fine. Only the water cap hinge broke early on. Otherwise, I had no issues with it. Recently, it started overheating, and I decided it was time to get a new iron. I bought the same model (Rowenta steam force). It looks similar, but it's much lighter, and the surface is not super smooth, so it doesn't glide as easily. And it did not feel as effective as the old one. For the money you pay, I do not think it's worth it. I'm returning it.

Love Rowenta Irons But....
I’ve been a loyal Rowenta Steam Iron user for over three decades. I own one of the older models that still works, but it lacks the heating and steam capabilities of the newer ones. All these irons were manufactured in Germany, and I never had any issues during the 30 years I owned them. The last one DW9220 only last three years as it started leaking or more completely soaking my ironing board and floor. I had to iron dry with a spray bottle. First bad experience. I probably have only bought before this one, four Rowenta Irons. One just because it was a Professional version on sale. The Rowenta Steam Force Iron I purchased was used or tried out. (Was this an Amazon issue?) I resolved that issue. However, I noticed that it’s now made internationally and doesn’t seem to meet Germany’s standards for Rowenta. The heat dial is difficult to read and use. The dial doesn't turn easily or seem to set where you need it. Nor does it heat up quickly at all. Using the wrinkles feature is awkward when using steam or spray on top of the iron because the dial is just underneath. You have to hold the iron further back or different. I do appreciate the heavier weight, but it’s not too heavy. It glides smoothly, making ironing easier. The model I purchased DW9440, which it states has a digital display, but it actually has a dial underneath. I can't speak to leakage, yet. As with the Rowenta DW9220 it worked great for approximately two and half years until it began to leak water onto clothes. Then, began to poor water out the end of cord and through the iron. So I will hold on to hopeI’ll hold on to the hope that this Rowenta Steam Force won’t leak. (For those experiencing leaks, please refer to the instructions.) I know it sounds silly, but there’s a correct way to use the steam button. Value now is much cheaper for what I paid in October, 2025. Rowenta used to be a great company that stood behind their products. Make sure to registered your Iron.

Produces ton of steam and has some good weight to it which is a plus
Professional steam iron. Well built and feels sturdy when in use. Produces a ton of steam and is easy to fill / drain water. Only caveat is this thing is wide so it doesn’t fit my existing hanging ironing board and iron holder.

Great iron, although limited control of steam
Great iron with excellent temp control. Heats up fast, iron surface slides easily, steam ports are small and we'll distributed. Steam is always on at a constant rate (no control). There is an extra steam trigger. If you want no steam, I guess empty the water tank, because it can't be turned off. Wish it had something to control amount of steam (from no steam to max steam) and a sprayer for water at front of iron.

I'm super happy with this purchase!!!! I had to replace my very old reliable Shark iron that died. Before purchasing this one I purchased and returned many different irons (brands like Singer, Shark, Rowenta and two no name brands) all of them did not get hot enough. I do a lot of sewing and quilting so heat is very important for pressing seams and getting crisp lines. It gets super hot and has a nice plate to keep clean. Steam function is nice too, but I don't need it very often with this iron because the iron gets super hot. The cord is not as long as I would like but its manageable. Hoping this one lasts.

This iron has super long cords, so goes where you go. It is light weight but delivers lots of steam power. Ironing doesn't need to be drudgery. I use mine primarily for quilting and sewing. Best value for your money.

I have a rowenta iron Rowenta Pro Precision iron. Micro steam 400 at home and I've had it for 15 years but I do sewing classes so I wanted an extra one this one was on sale for 175 so i thought I would try it out well let me tell you it's not comparable at all to my old one. This one keeps turning off if your not using it and the steam takes forever to come it's not instant and when I went to take it home from mg class the water leaked everywhere so I had to empty it and even then it still leaked. I am considering returning the iron they just don't make them like they used to i feel like the older model was great it was sturdy and heavy durable this one is so light feels like cheap plastic. The only thing that feel similar to the my old one is the weight of the iron it's self I will test it out one more time and decide what I'll do. I like on demand steam.

Clear instructions were not there that we can use in UK. Since the plug 🔌 is different from UK . Tried with compatible adapter, works for 10 -15 mins and goes off looking for the right cable for UK it would be great if the seller can suggest.
