Q: What age range or weight of child is this suitable for?

Not sure on the weight, it rests onto the front seats. the straps that support the sides are just that, supports. theres probably a weight limit but anyone small enough to fit across the front seats, i can't see being that heavy. i've a 9 yo in it atm but will probably be his last as he's getting taller but his younger brother will be next to go into it. Easy to put out and away. Oh and i do't use it like the pics, i have all front seats facing forward. Hope this helps

I don't think it would be. The sides are not rigid and move easily so wouldn't contain a 16 month old.

We use ours in a converted Crafter no problem.

One side onto the head rests and one side onto the sun visor fittings.
