Cheap styrene plastic, questionable scale -- buy something else.
I have purchased many NewRay products. This one is a disappointment. The engine housing is diecast metal. Most of the rest of the vehicle is yellow plastic, about the same thickness as an airplane model. The trailer and dump bed are all plastic. I don't think this vehicle will stand up to a child under age 10. I also think the scale is off. These trucks are monsters in real-life. I think this is closer to 1:72 or HO scale than 1:50. If you're looking for a product that will last your child, and he'll look back on it with love in adulthood as he gives it to his child, look elsewhere. This is not worth the price.
