Excellent Product and Support!
This is a fantastic device from a great company. First, it makes working with WLED essentially plug and play with any of the common LED strips/rings/matrices, and is loaded with thoughtful features that make it incredibly easy to use for learning, prototyping, or even as a component in a final product. On top of that, customer support is astounding. The device that I received had an essentially minor defect: the SMD switch for selecting between 5V and 12V LED strips had fallen off the board and was loose in the anti-static bag. I didn't even notice this until after I had used the device with some 5V strips for a number of days, until I was ready to finalize my project with a larger power supply and some 12V LEDs. I undoubtedly could have simply jumpered the solder pads for the switch, but decided to reach out to the manufacturer for confirmation first. They responded less than a day later. The response was gracious and apologetic, and they immediately sent me a replacement unit, which arrived in a few days and in perfect condition. This kind of customer service alone makes it more than worth the few extra dollars the device costs, compared to the other choices out there.

Great but one thing to note
Great item be warned the quick connect is fragile but the item works great 😸😸 the USBC PD of the device allows it to drive a 10 watt RGB ws2812 module

Great solution at a premium price
Easy WLED solution that can be setup in minutes. Price is on the high side but its well made and the connector does make installation a breeze. I've already reordered another and will likely do so for any future WLED projects. They also have some free STL files available for 3d printed enclosures which came in handy.

USB-C is a nice touch.
Edit: Updating to 4 stars. The issues I had with the Muzata strip were just a quirk of WLED. But the issue with upgrading to the latest WLED release remains. No access point is up if I install 0.14.0 then 0.15.0 (without ever giving wifi credentials). If I connect to wifi on 0.14.0 and upgrade, it fails to connect. If I try to set up wifi through the browser after installing 0.15.0, it fails to connect.Original: I wanted to absolutely love this control board. I just got it and it's already cost me 1.5 hours tinkering. Updating to 0.15.0, the wifi seems to die - no WLED access point, and it wouldn't connect to my wifi. It connected fine with 0.14.4, and after downgrading, reconnected again with no issues. I needed the latest because I intended to drive a WS2805 strip with this board - something a redditor claimed to have working. Resigned I tried connecting it to a Muzata strip I wanted moved to WLED - something known to work - but it just lit solid white. For my situation, I'd have been better off going with a different board. I'm guessing I'll figure it out, but if I'm going to be debugging, I'd just as soon go with an off-the-shelf esp32 board. That's what I had been using for the WS2805 strip. I just wanted something tidier.

Awesome board, well designed, great support
Great WLED controller, does just about all of the setup work for you. Plus it has great support and tutorials on the website! Definitely the best way to get started with WLED. I'll probably buy more in the future for more projects!

Powerful little board
Working great with WLED to power an LED strip to light up an entertainment center. Powering it with a 45w usb c power brick and have had no issues at all.

New to LED strips? Do yourself a favor and get this
Could not be easier to use. Everything you need is pre-installed. Lots of customization if you want, but you can also just use the built-in, straightforward settings. Don’t even need to download an app if you don’t want to. An absolute dream.
