Leaner Creamer works for me. My honest opinion including the "non-dairy" factor.
My personal trainer introduced me to this product as a good alternative to regular coffee creamers. It also has a good hunger suppressant, which surprisingly has worked for me! Yes, the product has a pretty nice vanilla-like scent. It does have a chalky taste but it's not unbearable. I actually mix it into my water-based matcha tea. The main issue folks are having is that the product claims to be "non-dairy" which is true. Non-dairy is commonly used on coffee creamers made from caseinate, a MILK PROTEIN, rather than milk or cream itself. "FDA regulations specifically allow the use of caseinates (and casein is one of the major milk allergens) in non-dairy products.. However, the term, caseinate, will appear in the ingredient statement and must be followed by a parenthetical explanation, such as (a milk derivative). " If you have a milk allergen, then this product is not for you. However, it is marketed for folks that are intolerant to lactose, like myself. Leaner Creamer responds to this question and answers that "..there is a trace amount of milk derivative in the creamer (i.e. less than .05%), but note that this formula is Lactose-Free". But, no is not "dairy-free" which would in many cases mean that the product has no milk and no milk derivative (i.e: milk protein, casein, etc.). Most importantly, read the labels. If there is such term as "milk derivative" then find out why the product claims to be "non-dairy". The above definition is what i found. Therefore I can't give this company a terrible review based on "misleading" folks because they are not; they are following the FDA regulations and using the best terminology. I like the product and thus far, sends no wrong message to my digestive system. I give my review 5 stars because I love the scent and suppressant factor which actually is effective. I'm lactose intolerant and I can tolerate the .05% caseinate (milk protein). I have no milk allergen. Yes, it does have a slight chalkiness to it; however, since i mix it in with my matcha tea, it does cancel out that taste and does leave a vanilla'y flavor. **No I didn't receive this product at a discounted rate, neither did Leaner Creamer ask me to leave a positive review. Rather, it's my honest unbiased opinion ;) **

Replace your regular creamer
Tastes great! Without any of the vegetable oil that regular powdered creamer has.

Glad I took a chance on this thing
TL;DR Overview & Takeaways: In a nutshell; Iโm a โslimmerโ whoโs calorie conscious. After a solid 6 months of nothing but black coffee I desperately missed having a more decadent morning mug some days so Iโve been buying different dieter friendly coffee accessories lately. The more negative reviews on Amazon had me worried but some of the glowing reviews on other sites made me take the plunge. Iโm glad I gave this a fair chance. I graded it in 6 categories and added either 1 or 0 stars (pass/fail) based on how good it was. The likability of this product isnโt gonna be โpoorโ or โexcellentโ for most people. It falls in the realm of โfair but needs improvementโ, โsatisfactory โ or โgoodโ โdepending ones priorities, personal taste, and how realistic of ones expectations are. I throw in the last part because some of these reviews read like theyโre written by people who donโt try out tons of diet foods on the regular. Remember that this product is 100% a DIET FOOD so you should probably be expecting some kind of trade off. *** LONG REVIEW STARTS HERE *** Leaner Creamerโs Nutrition label/ โDietness?โ: This is the main reason I think this product has unrealistically high expectations put on it. This product: Regular/Original Flavor Non-Dairy Creamers are used Lactose-Intolerant Safe product โ2 teaspoons make one serving โ5g of product make 2 teaspoons โ15 calories are added per serving โ0g of any sugar are present โItโs saturated fat & carbohydrate amount is low enough that it can worked into a diet that restricts these two to a lower amount. โItโs sweetened w/o using corn sweeteners or fructose sweeteners both of which will add some sugar even if not labled. It uses monk fruit instead; which doesnโt have known GI side effects, it has no calories|carbs|fat and itโs diabetic safe. Itโs the epitome of a dieters product! Iโm weight, sugar, fat, and calorie conscious so these were the main attributes that attracted me to the product. So many others have such an annoying sugar or calorie content. Ex: Coffeemate Original Flavor, NโJoy Regular Flavor, Walmart Great Value, Cremora are all examples of Non-Dairy & Lactose-Free creamers that donโt have 15 calories per 5g they have 25 cal in 5 grams of product. That may not sound much different but if Iโm having 2 cups with this a day every day for a month... it BECOMES a big difference. And all get their taste from: โCorn Syrup Solidsโ, โArtificial Flavorsโ & โPartially hydrogenated palm/coconut/soybean oilโโ FYI partially hydrogenated oil add synthetic Trans fat which most people would rather avoid I donโt want to throw other Amazon sellers under a bus but when I looked at the nutrition facts of several other health food powder creamersโ they definitely have more โinnocentโ ingredients, but still the same annoyingly higher calorie amount. Also thereโs the added drawback of having sugar added which isnโt great news for me **+1 star for overall rating, very diet friendly compared to other products that kept coming up short** *** Leaner Creamerโs Price: Itโs sad. :( I can buy coffee creamer of the same size for like $2.50-3.75 and paid over $13 for one bottle of this! That price is far worse than almost any other brand, but as said all those other brands did fail me in some way... So,for what this product *is* (a coffee creamer) itโs most definitely over priced. If this was priced at $5.00-$7.50 or double the amount of a regular off brand creamer then it would be a great price. Considering how good it isโ if it was priced 3 times as high $7.50-11.25 I still would consider the price good or fair-enough depending on whether it was on the high or low end of that. $14 is rather extortionate for a creamer of this size just to be honest Iโm gonna have to figure out if thereโs other websites I can buy it cheaper even with tax or free shipping because price is the main thing putting me on the fence of re buying it immediately as I run out or not **A 3 star rating for โvalue for moneyโ. It would of been 4 stars if the price was under $11.45 with free ship** **+0 star for overall rating, sorry.** *** Leaner Creamerโs Presentation: Came intact, safely packaged and sealed. I like that this creamer is a powder and thus I donโt mind keeping small containers I transfer the product to into in my work desk. The packaging is sturdy and aesthetically pleasing to look at. When I run out of creamer Iโll definitely be repurposing this for something. **A full star rating for presentation, flawless** **+1 star for overall rating, no complaints.** *** Leaner Creamerโs Palatability: Creamingโ I drink 10-14floz of cold brew or drip brew coffee in the morning & have experimented with adding this in different amounts. I find that I using 1 & 1/2 teaspoons to 2 & 1/3 teaspoons gives it the color & texture expected for a powder creamer. I use less with cold brew since itโs less bitter. With that said, I canโt relate to the reviews where people say they feel like they need โso muchโ to get it to be worth it. Itโs not gonna be a holy grail product for someone who plans to rely solely on this meanwhile theyโre someone like my mother who prefers her coffee to be more reminiscent of a sweet milkshake. It also wonโt take your mug from zero-to-hero if youโre someone who totally DISLIKES the obligatory bitterness of caffeine & wants to cover it completely rather than just make it much easier to appreciate. lol I donโt know how to explain it in words perfectly so I attached a picture for reference. Take note of at least how light your coffee has to be before you find it enjoyable to drink. Consult the pictureโ if I gave your coffee color a green light then in my opinion original flavor leaner creamer will do a fine job. If I gave your coffee color a yellow light then Iโm on the fence about you using this alone, but if you plan to use additional sugar-substitutes or diet coffee syrups this then I think theyโll make a great combo for you. If i gave your coffee a red lightโ move on to the next product if you donโt want to use double or triple servings. Flavorโ Thereโs no coconut like taste if thatโs what people were expecting โ it has its own mild taste and the sweetness is detectable but understated. The โnatural flavorsโ are used to flavor this are very light and non-distinguished whatever they may be. I assume this is because itโs the โoriginalโ flavor and brands usually like to keep the โoriginal flavorโ of a product more neutral and versatile. Perhaps buy one of the other varieties that are distinctively flavored if you want a more flavor from your creamer; but relying on powder creamers for much else besides minor flavor & lightening up the coffee is a risk if youโre gonna spring for a specialty product. Even non diet products like NJoy advertise having sugar along side their powder creamer. For someone looking for sweet, strong, & distinctive flavoring Id recommend something like Jordanโs skinny syrups over leaner creamerโ but they donโt cream/lighten. **A 4 star rating for flavor, it didnโt disappoint me but itโs not impressive compared to other store creamers** **+1 star for overall rating, it delivered what I expected and no less.** *** Leaner Creamerโs Ease of Use: A drawback. The amount you need clumps up in your drink and doesnโt dissolve easily on its own like other creamers. You canโt just dump it in while the coffee has cooled down some and let a beverage stirrer handle it, itโs too finicky. I have found the best way to do this is to use a fraction of a teaspoon at a time. Pour 1 leveled spoonful into your STILL HOT coffee as you firmly and quickly stir with a regular metal spoon for around 10 to 15 seconds. Wait a few seconds to see if it has fully dissolved. If a couple small clumps remain use the BACK of the spoon and gently press the clumps against the side of the mug this easily weakens & disintegrates the clumps so the next time you stir they will dissolve easily. Then add in the next 1/3 or 1/2 a teaspoon and repeat until youโve reached 2 teaspoons or desired amount. This process shouldnโt take longer than 2 minutes. Smaller Spoonfuls do dissolve faster but it takes more time to finish and it can get annoying. Any bigger then you start getting into territory where you have to fight the clumps to dissolve and itโs frustrating. If you have the correct measuring spoonsโ which I infer most calorie and weight conscious people DO, then itโs easy to put the right amount and follow the directions. If you donโt, youโre gonna have to eyeball it and guess. I included a picture on the off chance it will help anyone. **+0 star for overall rating, this was the biggest flaw of the product by far and it delays you in the morning** *** Leaner Creamerโs Synergy: This plays well with other things youโd put in your coffee, which is a benefit of the mild flavor. I like to use 1 serving of Splenda with fiber jar sometimes but prefer Sweet n low liquid sweetener as my regular sugar substitute because even if I were to use ten times the suggested serving size it still wouldnโt add a full calorie. lol. I put 1 to 2 drops per ounce of fluid in my coffee and teas to make them sweet. Combined with leaner creamer they make a great team. No complaints. It also doesnโt interfere with the individual flavors of Jordanโs Syrups and actually elevates it. Discovering how well this product improves others has been one of my favorite things. **+1 star for overall rating, very pleased**

Doesnโt taste like coconut nor cream
So gross. It doesnโt taste like cream nor coconut. It takes multiple servings to lift then to a reasonable level, making it higher calories than regular cream. I tried it several times then ended up throwing it away.
