McKlein USA Siamod Ignoto 15.6" Leather Large Ladies Laptop Briefcase

This is my second purchase of this same item. I use my laptop bag for business travel and have been generally pleased after a year plus of travel so I bought a second one either as a gift or a back up for my current bag (the fate is yet to be determined).Positives: Appearance; ease of access; helpful features (zipper on the lower back pocket to slide it over the arm of a roller bagn longer front pocket flap prevents loose items from falling out); deep front compartment has plenty of room to hold more than just the basics; cleaned up without issue after a bad encounter with gum under an airline seat.Negatives: Substandard hardware (for a $150+ bag I expect decent durable hardware. The metal looks nice but feels super cheap, clasps sometimes stick open and tiny screws hold several key wear points together); the interior storage in the front pocket is basic and the mesh pocket does not fit IDs, credit cards, or any standard size business cards so items typically end up a bit jumbled (I now just use another small pouch to contain it all); the patent leather will show wear if not handled gently and cleansed regularly.None of these are deal breakers for me considering the awesome price I received by buying it through Amazon Warehouse. If I paid full price it would have been returned simply due to the hardware issue given the amount of travel I do. For light or infrequent use this is a great option for anyone.

I needed a bag for my 17" macbook laptop, and wanted something more feminine & upscale than a black fabric bag. This more than meets the need. It's constructed well from high-quality materials (would have liked a *leetle* less shine but I'll live), has a ton of interior space (used it as an overnight bag on my last business trip), and is extremely well-designed for a traveler. That is -- two compartments are padded, intended for laptop and tablet. There's a large secondary space in with the laptop for business-type stuff (or shoes). There's a completely enclosed side pocket (for personal stuff, say). There's also an open pocket perfect for easy access to books/mags on the plane. Padded shoulder strap. Lots of little separate compartments for phones, pens, business cards, etc. And it looks nice enough to accompany a business suit, or can class up a pair of jeans. Sidenote: the nice thing about red is that it goes well with both black/gray and brown tones (the colors of most business clothes).My only complaint is that the shoulder strap is, even at its shortest adjustable setting, still very long for me (5' tall, so bag sits a few inches lower than I like). I'll probably take it to a leather shop to get adjusted. But given the reasonable price of the bag in the first place, the extra custom expense doesn't put it out of the good-value-for-the-money range. I expect this to last several years with daily use.

Nice bag, has great compartments for all your "stuff". I have a 17" Toshiba Laptop that barely fit - literally have to squeeze it in, but regardless, it fits. Buckle on front appears to be scratched and stained, but hopefully I will find a product to remove that. Shoulder strap is a great feature to have.

I was in need of a bag for my Alienware m15x laptop. Most bags for women only hold an average 15.4 or 15.6 laptop and not one of this size. It took me a while to find a bag that was not only practical but beautiful as well. Apparently most bag makers don't think that women purchase larger laptops like this because only a handful of bags would have worked. This holds my laptop beautifully with room to spare. It has enough space to hold my larger than average power brick, mouse, external number pad and still have room to spare.The patent leather is gorgeous! The bag seems to be made well. The detachable shoulder strap is extremely comfortable even while carrying a 9 pound laptop, which is quite amazing. This is a large bag, but it is a perfect size for my machine. If you have a smaller laptop you might want to consider one of the smaller models Siamod makes. I really love that they carry the same bag in multiple sizes so that everyone will be happy with their purchase.

My fiancee became an office manager and wanted a more professional looking bag when she visited clients and things. We bought her this one for $130 with shipping, which is a very reasonable price (the lowest price we found shopping around.) We looked it over when it arrived and it was in good condition. She had one minor complaint that the metal buckle looked like it had some tiny scratches on it but I thought it might just be the brushed type of metal. Over all, though, she was very happy with the bag. It's very pretty and the leather was all in great condition. It looks professional, yet fashionable.

I've taken this bag on 3 business trips. On the second trip, the clip on the longer strap/handle broke. I rigged it back together, and it worked okay. On the third trip, the pocket on the outside started ripping. I had barely used that pocket, except for throwing in my plane ticket and ID through security. Overall, I consider this bag very low quality at a very high cost. Extremely disappointed.

I have had this bag for a few years now and it's held up perfectly. Well constructed and easily attaches to my wheeled luggage. Has zippered sleeve on the back that keeps it in place on handle or keep closed for an extra compartment. Sleeved opening is approximately 9 inches wide which accommodates larger luggage handles.

This is a beautiful bag! It is well made, with great attention paid to finish details as well as overall construction. The leather is supple, yet firm. The compartments are well constructed and the trim is excellent. This bag carries an ASUS 17.5 inch laptop and all the accessories, as well as a usable amount of other items needed on a daily basis. My wife loves it and is very proud of it
