H.B.I. Sticky Wash Away – Water Soluble Stabilizer 12" x 5 YD, for Machine and Hand Embroidery, Quilting, Free Standing Lace, Bookmarks, etc.

Love this stuff! Recently had to go on oxygen and not allowed to use aerosols so spray adhesive is out of the question. Came across this sticky back stabilizer, wish I had known about it long ago. Not only does it stop the need for spray adhesive, because I can start on an edge applying it then slowly remove the backing while smoothing I have eliminated having to redo it because of wrinkles when trying spread stabilizer on a sticky surface. Also has been a great deterant to fabric accidentally stretching out of shape. Washes cleanly away and my machine embroidery looks amazing!

I like this product. It works well with my sewing machine when I embroidery. It is not to thick but sticks well.

Was looking for this to assist me with embroidering on jeans and it really helps! So glad I found this product! With so many stores for sewing not available anymore- I am so glad I can order this product when I need it!

I've tried brands from Sulky, Brothread, and one other brand whose name I can't remember and their quality control is wishy-washy... sometimes, their product comes in perfect condition, but 50% of the time their stabilizer has bubbles and streaks all over. That is why I decided to try this brand and my first roll is perfect AND I'm happy with their competitive price. I've ordered more to see what their quality control is like. My only complaint is that the roll is supposed to be 5 yards, and it is... but, the last few inches are unusable because it's glued (or was it taped? I can't remember) to a cardboard roll which is completely unnecessary. I cut my rolls into 8.5 x 12" sheets as I use my printer to add designs to them, so I end up 1 sheet short. I'll update my review once I receive the next roll.

This product adheres beautifully to the durkee ez hoops and I have done multiple items so far--and it washes off the hoop! Just be careful of the sticker on the front of your hoop, but this was the easiest removal without having to use goo gone and a plastic paint removal knife. I will definitely be getting more of this product!

Works as described. Leaves a sticky film under the floss but can remove it with care under running water. I’m not in love with getting my project wet either. My embroidery floss did not bleed and I ran cold water very gently over the area I needed desolved. It just left my project not as crisp looking as when I first completed it if that makes sense. However, really easy to use.

Great sticky stabilizer if you are using a magna embroidery hoop. No need to use spray adhesive, and it all comes off in the wash and on the hoop with water.
