Great for Smaller Cuts – Does the Job Well
I’ve used a range of butcher papers over time for smoking, and this one holds up well where it matters. The paper has a good thickness to it—strong enough to handle wrapping during longer cooks without tearing, but still breathable enough to do its job properly. It strikes that balance nicely, helping retain moisture while still allowing you to maintain a decent bark. In use, it’s easy to work with and doesn’t become overly fragile once it’s picked up some heat and moisture, which isn’t always the case with lower-quality rolls. I’ve mainly used it for ribs, smaller pork shoulder cuts, and chicken, and it performs consistently across the board. One thing to be aware of is the sheet/roll size. It’s great for smaller cuts, but if you’re planning to wrap a full brisket, you may find it a bit limiting unless you’re prepared to overlap or double wrap. Overall, a dependable, good-quality butcher paper that delivers solid results—just best suited to smaller cooks rather than large briskets or chuck roasts.

Perfect Paper for Smoking – Excellent Performance
This Butcher Paper is absolutely fantastic for smoking meat. It performs exactly as expected under demanding conditions. The paper is highly resistant to both moisture and grease, preventing any unwanted leaks or breakdowns during long, slow cooks. Crucially, it holds up perfectly to high temperatures in the smoker without falling apart or combusting. It's also easy to cut and work with, making the wrapping process simple and quick. If you're looking for reliable, high-quality butcher paper for your barbecue, this is the one to get!

ideal for smaller smoking
good value for money used for my brisket and with a little bit of water it can fold up very well. it holds the juices well and isn't too thick, only issue is personal and i wish it was a little wider so it can wrap larger meats.

Very good for smoked cheeses 🧀
Using for wrapping home smoked cheeses, very useful as it allows the cheese to breathe and mature without moisture building up. There's loads of it on the roll so should last a while. Using food grade tape to hold folded package together and there's no issue with adhesion unlike some other papers I have tried.

Large quantity of food safe paper
I used this twice when air frying chicken portions. Both times, the meat juices soaked through. The second time, I had doubled it and the juices went through both layers. So for me, this is really butcher's paper. Food safe paper that is good for wrapping meat or meat which is a little wet, but not for containing fats, dripping, juices. If you just hold it briefly under a tap and wet it on one side, it does not leak through to the other side. So it is a good meat, cheese, food wrapping paper. I personally don't see any point in using it for cooking if everything soaks through. Not containing juices, keeping things below clean - so what is its function then? Hope that helps!
