Ustellar 30W PIR Floodlight with Motion Sensor, 150W Equivalent, Outdoor Security Lights, 2400lm IP66 Waterproof LED Flood Light for Garage Basement, 5000K Daylight White

This is a super bright light, I bought it to replace a 300w halogen flood light.Where as before I had a pool of light that reached half way across my garden, say 5 or 6 metres this light goes atleast 15 metres. I've had to be careful that I don't illuminate bedrooms 30 metres away.Usual sort of mounting and a simple electrical connection, though you must ensure you have a earth on your lighting circuit, if that's how you are connecting it.The light is very thin, perhaps 60 mm thick.Adjusting the sensitivity and duration is simple though it states the maximum time on is 3 minutes, I think it's closer to 6 or 7 minutes.Only minor concern is the mounting system for the sensor, it seems a little light weight, though I suppose once it's set there will be no reason to touch it, time will tell.Usual prompt delivery.

I wouldn't even give this product one star if I had the option. I ordered two of these lights back in October 2018. When they arrived one was already damaged so a return was started and a replacement ordered. The return took weeks to complete and many conversations to finally get a refund. The replacement unit and one of the original lights were installed and seemed to give off a good light. Unfortunately, one of the units burnt out within 3 weeks. The PIR glowed red and the LED lights had burnt out with black char marks across a row of the LEDs. Again the light was returned and a replacement sent. Then in December, one of the lights started flashing uncontrollably like a disco light, then died! And shortly afterwards the other unit did exactly the same. Both sensors glowing red and char marks across rows of LEDs! After speaking to an Amazon rep they have agreed to refund but unfortunately, true to Amazon's form have, so far, only refunded one unit. So that'll be another thing I need to chase! Do yourselves a favour and get something else, these are not worth the money nor the hassle. Now I'm out of pocket having paid for installation AND removal, it would have worked out cheaper getting a slightly more expensive unit that works first time. Fingers crossed the replacements I've found work for longer than three weeks! DONT WASTE YOUR MONEY

Just what I needed to light up the driveway when I get home from work on a winter night. Well made, solid build. A lot brighter that I had hoped, it really does look like a 150-watt equivalent. The sensor swivels and turns independent of the light. The 3 adjustments for time, sensitivity and distance were easy to get right. Like all of these lights now the bulb is not replaceable, but if it lasts for just a fraction of its published lifetime it will outlast me. But for now its pretty good. If its still going in a year's time it'll go up to 5 stars, if it failed in that time it will lose a few. Fingers crossed!

A good solid product well made and throws out a lot of light.I have only given this 4 stars as the adjusting dials particularly for duration of the light coming on and going off is very hit and miss. The paperwork with it suggests that the maximum duration for the light being on is 3 minutes. In reality if set at maximum it is probably 20 + minutes, so you have to mess about guessing where to move the adjuster dial to get to the time you actually want. The other adjuster dials for day and night, etc. have similar problems. Otherwise a good product, it has replaced my 450 watt floodlight with spectacular results (probably equivalent to a 300 watt lamp).

Bought this to replace a 7 year old 100W Halogen security light.Brilliant upgrade as far as brightness, lights up whole garden and well into the field at the side of my house.If this light had the same ability as the old one to be switched on permanently, and incorporated an all weather connection box, it would have earned 5 stars. Highly recommended.

Sadly, even with all sensors turned right down, the light remained on - 2 hrs up a ladder for nothing. Connected it to a test wire and it kept blowing the fuses. Something obviously not right, so returned it.

Initially it was great, bright, PIR very good as it picked movement up straight away. However, as others have reported, after only 3 weeks about 50% of the LEDs are permanently on but very dim and the PIR is constantly red.Unreliable, I would not recommend.

Upon arrival, seemed sturdy enough and well packaged. First issue was the length of the "arms" on the mounting bracket. They are not very long, so there is a limited range of movement for the light. It also makes screwing the mounting plate into the wall very awkward.Unfortunately, when connected up, it did not work, just flashed for a fraction of a second when powered on, then nothing.Return in progress....
