Tough set of loppers and lightweight
This is a tough pair of loppers. I have a small orchard of about 300 trees. Some of the limbs are too big for the regular loppers and too small to break out the chainsaw. This set slices through two inch green wood with ease. I read a few reviews that said they twisted. I purposely used this on large oak limbs with no issues. When the orchard gets big enough to hire people I will have to a few more of these. I have the full range of Fiskar tools and this is at the top of the list. I do have an overpowered ratchet lopper but it is very heavy and has trouble in tight spots. This one can do most of the work and I can carry it for hours a day.Update August 10 2021. I have used these for 3 years now and between my son and I I would guess about 2000 cuts per season and it is still like brand new.I have 5 loppers now and this is my favorite.

Lopping Shear
This Fiskars lopping shear is the very best tool I have ever had for pruning limbs from my citrus trees. Much of the limbs on my trees were killed by the freezing weather we had here in South Texas last winter! This tool allows me to easily cut the limbs killed by the freeze with minimum effort! Important to me since I am 91 years old, and do not have the strength to prune the limbs with an ordinary lopper!ACF

Fiskars continues to make the best loppers on Earth!
My dad had a pair of these loppers when I was a kid, he still has them and they still work perfectly. I got tired of stealing his so I manned up and bought my own. The color has changed from the blue pair he owns (who cares), but the quality is still unmatched! These will not let you down; between my new pair and the old one, I have abused them too many times to count. I regularly cut branches, far thicker than recommended for these loppers, but it always slices through with minimal effort.

These make it easier
I'm in Texas, and have been cleaning up fallen tree limbs from the recent snow/ice storm. I've spent many hours over several days using these loppers, and was very glad to have them. They made the work so much easier. I doubt that I could have worked as long or done as much with our old ones. I highly recommend these.

Great light-weight loppers
These are great light-weight loppers. I had a prior pair that was about 2-3" longer that was made the same way and they were stolen. The longer light-weight ones aren't made now, so I bought these.Same cutting power, easy to handle, and can do some tough jobs clearing downed tree tops.Only gave them a 4 because I wish they were 2-3" longer! Otherwise a 5.The longer Fiskars had the near gear-drive head and are just too heavy to carry all day with other tools. This 25" pair is SO much better than the shorter ones, and even the longer heavier ones.I don't get tired of carrying them or cutting with them, and the grips are comfortable without being bulky.NICE loppers and MUCH less weight than a leading competitor.

Originals lasted 18 years, hope these do the same
I have a set of these I bought in 1997 and I have used them 3 or 4 times a month ever since. They still work but the jaws/blades are getting loose and smaller branches bind up easily. I bought this set on Amazon's Black Friday special just so I'd have new set. These are exactly the same except for the handle color and the blade coating, they work like the old pair did when they were new. They cut limbs up to 2 inches in diameter fairly easily. The only downside is that you really need to open the handles up wide. This is how it gives you extra leverage to make the cuts easier, but it significantly reduces your reach if you're trying to cut branches above your head.A potential downside s that this pair was made in China whereas my 18-year-old pair was made in Finland. I have some Fiskars garden sheers that were made in Findland and later bought another "identical" pair made in China. The pair made in China cracked at the finger hole and broke in half at the pivot joint after 5 years while the pair made in Finland are still working with no issues. The plastic used in the handles and pivot was definitely lower quality in the pair made in China. I definitely have concerns that both the steel and handle material may not be as good in these new loppers that are made in China. The lack of coating on the one blade is a good indication that the steel has changed, too.

These loppers are better than I could have wished for!
One of my spruce trees had several low hanging limbs that were interfering with the mowing guys last week. I have a pair of 18” loppers and thought I would try to take care of the problem myself. I am not strong at all, by the way. I could not do more than make a dent on the smaller limbs. I was not surprised, but I was still disappointed. But then I thought, I bet I can find something that will work on Amazon and get it before the mowing guys came back. I needed something that would do the job with the least amount of user strength. I looked at a lot of loppers and read several reviews. When I saw the name Fiskars and that you only use about a third of the force as other ones to get the job done, I focused on this one. I read some reviews about the blades breaking, but I have several Fiskars products and have never had a problem with them. So I ordered these loppers and got them right away. I couldn’t wait to try them and I had high hopes that they would work as easily as advertised. I was blown away with how easy it was even though I am very weak. I was extremely happy and I ended up cutting more branches than I had planned on cutting. It didn’t take long for my arms to feel like rubber, but I couldn’t be happier with these loppers! For a healthy person they wouldn’t be disappointed at all!

Well made yard tools.
Will stick with Fiskars yard tools. Well made and holds up use. Very happy with purchase.Updated. 11/2/19 My husband used these for the first time within the past two weeks. He's bragged to his twin brother and told me several times how much he loves this tool. He loves the cutting action and the effortless glide cutting through limbs. He rarely gives high praise like this if it wasn't his idea but he swears by these.
