Accidently rounded off the head of a bolt. Wanna know where that bolt was? My oil drain plug, to be exact. It made me mad and made me paranoid that i messed up. Then i got to thinking. Buy an extractor kit. And I did. This tool and a 1/2" ratchet wrench had the oil plug out in no time. This is a great product for rounded bolts...... or oil plugs. 10?10 recommend.

Worked Like a Charm
I had stripped the head on a head bolt in my lawn tractor engine. The bolt was in a tight place, and I could not get vise grips or any other gripping tool in there to remove it. I could not replace the head gasket until I got the bolt out. I ordered this set, it came in quickly, and it took only seconds to get that bolt out—problem solved. This set could have prevented a lot of frustration over the years. This is a great tool to have in your kit.

You might not need them now but when you do you will have them
This is one of those products that, while they may sit on your shelf unused most of the time when you do need them there they will be. If you have screwed together many things or taken a lot of things apart or just try and fix everything yourself eventually you will strip the head out of a screw and you will hope that you have something like this set. I have inspected the set, and they seem like they should do alright. No, I have not tried them because I dont currently have any screws with issues, and I wasn't going to purposely damage one to try this out. Eventually, in my line of work in the hvac field, I will run into a problem, and I will have this set to help me out. This is a large set and should cover pretty much anything a typical person will ever encounter. They come in a nice storage case that keeps them all in place. They come well oiled to prevent rust. I have handled all sorts of tools in my life, and there is nothing about this set that makes me feel like there will be any issues with them.

broke on first use
I had a very difficult bolt to remove. It did remove the bolt but the tool broke while doing so. Buy cheap, get cheap.
