10 mi from Hancock New York, deep forest. Works excellent !
Just built a metal building at the far end of my property, 10 mi from nearest tiny Town and under dense old growth canopy. Voice calls were only every other word, can you hear me now lol, that's outside the building. Inside the metal building, nothing. I used an Android app called network cell info light. I walked around behind the building on the side facing town and found the best signal, -90dB and then that spot I could make good calls and even watch YouTube videos. I installed the panel there, not high up because higher up would put me more into the leaves which attenuate the signal. So I mounted it about 5 ft off the ground where I could see through the forest and out to the horizon. Then I ran the cable into the back side of the building and put the booster unit at the front side of the building, about 35 ft separation from outdoor panel antenna and inside unit with its antenna. I can now make phone calls, watch YouTube and do FaceTime phone video ... Inside the metal building and on the front side near my fire pit. The thing works absolutely great. For 99 bucks I'm very happy with this thing. I have Verizon and an s20 ... My cabin is about 200 ft to the east of this building and I have a Good line of sight looking towards town but cell service is sometimes a bit spotty, especially in bad weather so I'm probably going to install another one of these in my cabin as well. The one in the metal building Will only be turned on when I'm out there. I did use a sewing needle to apply a tiny bit of NoAlox on the center pin and shields of all connections to coax cables and antennas. I also wrapped the outdoor antenna coax connection in a product called CoaxSeal which I would highly recommend. I also sprayed the back of the panel antenna with aluminum anti-seize spray and coated the mounting bolts with NoAlox. OxGard is also the same exact product.

Junk out of the box. Wasted most of a day tinkering around with something that doesn’t work anyways. My time is way more valuable than piece of garbage. Waiting for a refund.
