Reliable, rugged, and ready for camp life
The EF ECOFLOW 160W Portable Solar Panel (NextGen version) is a comfort-forward power solution that feels like it was built for Bob’s kind of camping ritual: efficient, weatherproof, and easy to deploy. Whether you’re charging a River 2 Max or building a multi-speaker zone in the wild, this panel fits right in. Setup is intuitive—the foldable design and adjustable kickstand make it easy to angle toward the sun without wrestling with awkward hardware. It’s lightweight enough to carry without regret, and the included case doubles as a protective shell and stand ynetnews.com. Performance-wise, the 25% high conversion efficiency isn’t just marketing fluff. In real-world conditions, users report consistent charging even in partial sunlight. It’s not magic, but it’s close—especially when paired with EcoFlow’s power stations ynetnews.com +1. Durability is a standout: the IP68 waterproof rating means it can handle rain, dust, and the occasional splash from a nearby creek. Reviewers have tested it in harsh environments—from deserts to rainforests—and it held up without a hitch Battery Skills. Minor gripes? The kickstand could use a bit more grip on uneven terrain, and the panel’s surface can attract dust if left out too long. But those are small trade-offs for a unit that’s this portable and powerful. --- 🧡 Final Verdict If your outdoor comfort ritual includes reliable off-grid power, this panel earns its place. It’s not just a solar panel—it’s a setup ritual enhancer. Fold it, aim it, charge it, and relax knowing your gear’s got juice.

Ecoflow panels and river 2
I had the opportunity to use the EcoFlow 160W solar panel and EcoFlow River 2 Max after Hurricane Helene. After the storm passed, power was still out in many areas, but I was able to rely on this setup for all my energy needs. The EcoFlow 160W solar panel was incredibly easy to set up, even in the post-storm conditions. I set it up outside, and despite some lingering clouds, it charged the River 2 Max efficiently. Even though the skies weren’t completely clear, the panel still provided enough power to keep my River 2 Max topped up. Overall, the combination of the EcoFlow 160W solar panel and the River 2 Max works well. The solar panel’s efficiency and the River 2 Max’s reliable power storage gave me the independence I needed to stay comfortable and connected. I’d highly recommend this setup for anyone in need of off-grid power, especially in emergency situations.

Recommend this panel for smaller EcoFlow River series
Easy connect and set up, especially with the new back brackets. Use this to charge my River Solar chargers with ease. Well made, EcoFlow puts out a great quality product. Happy with purchase.

Under promises and over delivers...
Why did I give the ecoflow 160 watt panel 5 stars? 1.) I'm already in the ecoflow ecosystem with my Delta 2 and a River Pro. 2.) It works out of the box, no other cables necessary or required. 3.) In my experience it achieved the power for which it's rated. 4.) The slim form factor doesn't take up much space in the back of my SUV. What am I using this for primarily? I use mine primarily for work in public safety where I am either charging drone batteries or mobile data terminals and always lots of phones. I also power my Starlink mini off my ecoflow in the field. This just allows me to stay connected in the field longer. For reference the photo attached was taken around 3pm in Hawaii on a partly cloudy day. Still managed to hit 178 watts right away. 10/10 would recommend.

Excellent wattage output. Great solar panel all-around
Great product. Wattage output is fantastic, even on less than sunny days. The stand is lousy. Ecoflow could do better with that, but the panel itself is great. Easy to connect and point to the sun and it just works. Order one, you will be happy.

Savvy Off-grid Solution
This item is essential for those who live off-grid or who like to have electricity when camping. Personally, when I camp, I camp the old fashion way, but for my off-grid power supply, this panel provides all the daily energy that I need to operate low-powered electronics. For those who do not have much knowledge on running solar powered systems, this is good to have, because the panels simply plug into the back of the EcoFlow River2 power station. For those who are using this for off-grid solutions, please note that these panels are sensitive to moisture and rain. Some people might do the work to connect and disconnect the panels daily, but we found that it was easier to create a dry space for the panels by building a plexiglass canopy 8" above the roof. Now that the panels are not susceptible to the rain, and there is 8" space for passive air flow to handle the cooling, our system doesn't have to run out of power, and we don't have to disconnect and reconnect the panel every day.

Very easy to set up with excellent output
I have a couple EcoFlow battery generators and connected this to a EcoFlow Pro. The XT60 connector and cable connected to 30 feet extension with mc4 connectors and the other end into the solar panel. I aimed the panel toward the sun and moved it slightly and had 133 watts going into my EcoFlow Pro. This was surprisingly high since the sun was quite low in the December sky. The solar panel was packed nicely in its case and went back in quickly without being crammed. This is very light and easy to handle. I’m very impressed.

Very good product, package and compatibility. Perfectly works with River 3+ Got reach 160w power from the panel under the UAE March sky with River 3 loaded above 160w.
