An interesting book with a fresh slant on the war.
An enjoyable and informative book on the war in the pacific, yes it does not go into a day by day look at the Ships career but brings the ship and crew to life, The author gives loads of information on the background to the conflict in a very reader friendly style and I found it well worth it.
